This place is such a cute bakery/tea room to visit! I love all the fun flavors of the cakes and cookies. Recently i got together with the owner and she helped me with ordering a cake for my son's birthday then some issues came up with the party being postponed. She listened and understood my need for delaying the cake which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely be going here for future orders.

I visited I Knead Sugar last week before I left town. I'd been meaning to stop on in for a while to show my support to a fellow native woman and to try out their desserts. The owner was the one working the front when I visited, and she was so helpful and nice. She greeted us when we walked in and made funny conversation with my relative and me while we perused. I bought some cupcakes and cookies, which I shared with family members who said it tasted great. I'll definitely be stopping in again the next time I'm in town visiting, and hopefully stay a bit longer to try out the tea room and other goodies. Overall loved the feel of this business and definitely felt the friendly warmth from the owner. Can't wait to go back!

I'm from out of town so I don't know if thus place was any good at the time but after I purchased my cupcakes and cookies from there it was very dry and no flavor even my kids didn't want to eat it and they picked out 2 cupcakes each it all went to waste also it is very over priced

Tea party was great experiences. Seeing the difference theme of the room. I love them super cutie. I love the set of china. The pastries were amazing especially blue corn cookies, love them. Also the rose Navajo tea. Very delicious ❤️❤️Definitely the birthday girl love it. Knowing my aunt be coming back for another tea time.Everything was elegant. I know myself and my mother would come back.I highly recommend to come and experience "tea time" with an family member or friend.Thank you Jackie and crew for hosting amazing tea party for us ladies. Stopped by on my way through this town while traveling. Was just looking for something somewhat healthy to have. They serve some smoothies. They lady that helped me was kind and courteous. She made the smoothies fresh to order and they were good. Wanted to try some baked goods because they looked really nice but had to resist because I needed something healthier. The place is cute and clean though. Would stop by again in the future if I am in the area.

"Enough said"-pictures3 stars for owner returning "almost" a full refund and providing an apology. Only after calling to check on the status of my refund and I believe only after showing the owner that I have record and recoding of the cake before leaving and the interaction with her employee.Also, when my money still wasn't refunded after patiently waiting, I had to go through Better Business Bureau and the city to investigate how I can go to get my money back. I even saved the cake until my refund was returned. If that doesn't say much, then I don't know what will.Why post? I am posting because a coworker went to this place and was poorly treated. I apologized to my coworker for not telling her about my experience.Remember, some people and businesses have the INTEGRITY to do what is right when no one is looking. However, there are a some small businesses that do what is right only when others ARE looking (especially in a small town like this).So, I'll leave the pictures for you to make your own judgement. Also, keep in mind that not all small business are great. Protect your investment...keep receipt and document your interactions (names, dates, take your pictures).Most of all, trust your gut! I should have listened to mine. You can definitely feel the vibes when you walk into a any place. Is the feel genuine and inviting? Do you feel like they want your business? If not, take your time and your money elsewhere. You work hard for what you have. Take it to a place that works hard just like you.And always be kind. :)Update to owners response:1st. Let's try and listen to the customer. But let me explain. I DID NOT say I referred this individual. I said "a coworker" went there. Therefore, I said I apologize for for NOT letting her know of my experience there. Thus, I kept quiet and did not say anything.Also, I guess coworker are friends? Hmmm. Nope, some people just are disgusted to see and experience what keeps happening at a place of business. So, others need to speak up about their experiences so it doesn't keep repeating its self. Especially for people whole hearted earn their pay. That's what reviews are for.As for your worker, you said. It's was her fault to not resolve the issue and to continue to be disrespectful. That's on you to take away their pay. Is that reason for you to respond as such? No.As for me waiting, did you mention I waited because you worker lied to me? She said you were gone and would not come back. Little did she know I spoke with you and then you just magically appeared? Maybe out of JoJOs cake? Hmmm.Do you remember me telling you how I wanted to support a business such as yours? I'm sorry you read my response in a an angry tone. Not responding in a professional way. :( I hope you have a better day and I hope you start making changes because months after my experiences it's disgusting to hear that this is still happening.Lastly, you are lying again. No cash refund. That was the problem. You kept saying you would do that and you couldn't keep your word. So, you ended the refund to my card. I have records still. Stop lying and fix your customer service and take it seriously. That way it doesn't happen again.To the readers researching:Notice the tone of my writing and notice the tone in the owners response. The reason why I didn't post the first time, the aggression and what I had to do to get my return. My experience happened in September 2021 and I'm writing to say buyer BEWARE. Pictures say enough and 3 stars is a good rating :) It's good the owners remembers this cake. A lesson, it doesn't happen again. Think about the time and the disappointment on a joyful day? What if your daughter got this cake on a planned event? The trust I put in this business. If the owner does not understand that, then...I'm sorry. Maybe .5 score for the owner reading reviews. This tells others to post their experiences more often.Really? "To get a attention"...come on now. :) Be kind.
