We are happy we found this little local jewel before we left New Mexico. Corazon contenta- memories of my Mom. She grew up in New Mexico so flour tortillas and beans with red sauce were always something we had growing up. ❤️❤️❤️
Great place for a good meal. I recommend the breakfast burrito with green chili. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
Had huevos Ranchero. The green chili was a unique pork chili sauce served over eggs, potato and beans. The owner/server was friendly and attentive. Over all a great dining experence!
Ordered a smothered burrito wasn't what I expected in taste and seen.
Was simply looking for a quick breakfast in Gallup before getting back on the road to Shiprock & Farmington. Definitely not an impressive looking building from the outside but pretty 'homey and mini-dinerish' on the inside. I found out later that the owner-operator was running the show inside the place and her name was of course, Sandra...
To sum up things, the food was top-notch, servers were all good & personable, the place was clean, and half full of locals as far as I knew. I ordered the chorizo and eggs W/2 tortillas which was cooked to order. Superb meal and good value. Will stop here again...
Bottom Line: 9.2 out of 10
My favorite place for Breakfast!
Great little local spot on Route 66!! Perfect pitstop on our way back home to Vegas! Great food, service & atmosphere!
Fabulous food and great friendly people
Don’t be deceived by the outdoor appearance
I really wast to love this restaurant but this is the second time the oresentation has been substandard. The ladies that help the customers are awsome and very friendly. The problem is with the eggs and bacon. The eggs were presented broken and torn and the bacon was done fine in parts of the strips but there was a significant part of the bacon that was underdone. The pancakes were very flavorful but needed a sharp knife to cut off a piece to eat. If they will be more careful serve the minimum standard of these items this great little family owned restaurant would be fantastic. This is only one of a very few restaurants that I have had this quality problem. I have visited hundreds of restaurants and find varying levels of quality presentation but this is among the most egregious. These are great people and wish them the absolute best, I hope they fix this, I'm rooting for them.
Fantastic place to eat family atmosphere locals definitely go here and just loved it. Sandra is the best. Can’t wait to return someday! They even great their own hashbrowns, nice and fresh, pancakes were delicious so the eggs and toast and coffee!
Parking: Wonderful restaurant, but hard to find a place especially with a trailer had to park across the street at another parking lot.
But would definitely return Sandra’s place is the best!

Wait staff did not have any knowledge about menu. I ordered what I intended to order but received different order because wait staff error, did not even correct the order. What a waste of food and money.

Was closed today. Not sure if it's permanently closed or was temporary. Was going to check it out for the first time. Oh well.
