Salad bar was dirty, angel cake was hard, spoons were inside food on salad bar, seats were oily from previous guest. Fries were cold and soggy and the burger was burnt.

The place may have had a face-lift but the service could use the same. Servers acting like robots. My cooks could also have more training in food versatility. My burger I asked for lettuce wrapped. It was limp and dripping in grease. Flies at the salad bar. Not appealing to see.

Over priced, service was bad, food was embarrassing for the price. First and LAST time I would go here. For 25 bucks a plate this is embarrassing!
I enjoy eating here because I worked here during college. If we could experience working at the places we eat, right? The owner is very particular about food temperature and making sure their workers are doing their job (moving, listening to customers, and treat guest like they are visitors in their own home). The servers are always kind. Management is always walking around and checking on customers. You know your service is great when you always get a check in after your food is serviced and drinks are halfway to full. Food is already being prepared right when your receipt is handed to you! How great is that! Keep up the great work. :)
Update 7/30: trash is still located by food bar. That is nasty. 5 to 1 star

We moved to Gallup, NM from the teacher apartment in Thoreau today, so we had dinner out. Many of the popular local restaurants are closed on Sunday evenings, so there weren’t many options. We ended up going to Sizzler. We had been to this location about a year ago—I thought the price for the unlimited salad bar had gone up, but it’s still just $7.99 with an entrée, which is quite affordable. The salad bar was great: the vegetables and fruit were fresh, and the hot food was flavorful. The only downside was the side of fries—they were greasy and overly oily.
In the end, we barely touched our entrées because we were already full after two rounds at the salad bar.
