“What a wonderful Cafe owned by a lovely family who are happy and give great service. They were busy with the breakfast crowd but we didn't mind the wait and our delicious food came really fast. My hubby said the coffee was very good. It was a treat to have sopapillas since it has been while. It's a very clean and well run business. 5+ stars from us traveling from Nebraska to Arizona. Stop in and enjoy it yourself.“

“Earl's was once was a great place to eat out at and enjoy a family dinner here.
Now the fries were greasy and tasted like the deep fried grease wasn't changed.
I had order a soup and sandwich (grilled cheese)
They brought me back a soggy sandwich and wilted lettuce for my salad.....
Very, very sad .....
A place that was once enjoyed and was a treat to go eat at is now, over rater, over priced and out dated. Maybe it will get it's nostalgia back but it will take a miracle and new management 🤔😳🥺“

“The food was good while still hot but due to the extreme cold, it cools down quickly. This note I assumed was there for summer reference but no, it like the A/C is in year round. Even the hot water wasn’t working in the restroom, the heat that’s supposed to come from the hand dryer was freezing. Good place to go for an affordable bite. Take a jacket to eat it, uncomfortably.“

Don’t pass up on one of the Burgers, they are all char‑grilled over live mesquite coals, juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned.
The portions are very generous and the food is reasonably priced.“

“Moving back from Phoenix, and Back to the Navajo Nation my husband and I enjoyed this place. My husband is Mexican and BOY he enjoyed this real Mexican food place in Gallup, NM. We ate at several places before, and it did not make top of our list. When we ate here yesterday the Salsa was so good and very hott. I give this place a 10/10 and recommend this place. Very affordable, and staff is nice I'ma be going back again =) for sure.“

“Last November my husband and I happened La Barraca when we stayed in Gallup while on a roadtrip. With plenty of cars outside and locals inside, we had an enjoyable, delicious meal and great, friendly service. we made a point of stopping in Gallup for the night so we could return. We were not disappointed. Between us had enchiladas with beef and red chili, tamale, a tostada, a taco and sapapilla. The food was hot and tasty with just the right amount of spicy heat. The service was attentive, efficient and friendly. When the clerk at the hotel asked how we had enjoyed our dinner, she said she likes to go there for lunch with her mother, and that the owner is a great cook who produces consistently food. We agree!“

“This restaurant is located in the truck stop. Don't let the outside looks discourage you. The Food and service are exceptional. I have Indian friends who operated a restaurant and this food compares nicely with what have had. Don't pass this up, you'll regret it.“

“Big Cheese is a magical place for young and old. We thoroughly enjoyed the thin crust pizza pie and while we did not win big on the arcade games, we won big on fun and friendship. Big Cheese is the type of place that fosters lifelong memories and unbridled joy. It brings out the best in humanity, with a child even offering us some of his tickets so we could get a better prize.
Employees were friendly, attentive, and joyfully represented Mr. Cheese in a positive light.
You come to Big Cheese because the mascot welcomes you in with a charming smile, shedding hope on the weary travelers of Route 66, but you stay at Big cheese and keep coming back because it’s not just a pinnacle of pizza craft and arcade. It’s home.“

“I have my favorites which include their fried zucchini and lasagna. The service has been stellar for me. I love their food and the atmosphere including music and friendliness has me return each month since finding the restaurant in Gallup! Thank you so much for delicious food!“
