We make the annual pilgrimage down to Hatch for two things …. Sparky’s and fresh roasted and peeled green chile…. Great food (can not recommend the green chili cheese burger enough) especially with a side of con queso …. You’ll be forced to buy the sausage sampler (in the window by the cashier displayed like your favorite donut) and while some may disagree (they’re wrong) you have to try the green chili lemonade. Pretty much an order and find a table place but the staff is always available and helpful …. Lots of swag and so much atmosphere!!

Sparky's is famous for its green chile cheese burgers for a reason. They are amazing. So are their fries. You really have to have a delicious burger to stand on its own without any normal burger fixings. No mayo, mustard, tomato, onion, pickle, or lettuce is needed. Just 100% delicious green chile cheese burger greatness!

The food was good. Had the #1 combo double cheeseburger with green chili, fries and a drink. The green chili was not spicy it was a little bland for my taste but it was tasty. The fries were crispy. The food was warm, but it does take a bit to get your food. They are made to order so keep that in mind when going. The service was fast. The decor is something to keep you busy while you wait. Lots to see very vintage feel to the place. The band was playing and I must say they are excellent. They play a lot of different types of music from Elvis, Johnny Cash and some country. There’s a small area to dance, if you dare! Overall, a great little place with good food and a great atmosphere. Will go again.

Best Green Chile Cheeseburger I've ever had because thr beef was cooked to perfection! EVERYTHING about this burger was perfect, and the accompanying fries were exquisitely spiced. Their pecan pie was good, too, as well as the apple!
TIP: There is a process to ordering: when you go in, go to the counter to order and pay and receive a beeper. Then go get your libations and find a table. Your beeper will alert you to pick up your food at the pickup counter which is behind the counter where you ordered.
Restrooms are at the back of the main dining hall.
