“This place has excellent bbq. Everyone is nice and the brisket and sausage (2 meat basket) was so good! Their Mac and cheese is super good as well. My husband had the Dino rib which is 1lb and a half of meat on bone, and he said that hands down it is his new favorite bbq place. Those whole in the walls in Anthony are terrific.Parking: Since it's a small place it only accommodates so many customers, so you may have to wait for parking or park and walk. It looks like it used to be a small car repair shop and the restaurant is inside that garage. It's a neat concept“
“BobBea's Rolling Grill, usually parked outside of Landmark Mercantile in Mesquite on the weekends, is the best place to fulfill your cravings for New Mexican, Mexican classics with trendy twists. Chef Bobby and his wife Bea have been perfecting their business for over 30 years and always strive to serve up delicious meals for affordable prices. My recommendation is to try their Landmark bowl and/or their savory brisket. Make sure to check out BobBea's Catering, their more upscale service for your banquets, quinceañeras, weddings. You won't be disappointed!“

“After being closed through much of the pandemic, it was great to see this landmark restaurant/bar open again. We went twice: once we ate in the bar. It was noisy (to be expected, it's a bar after all) and the service wasn't as cheerful as in the restaurant (they're dealing with folks who'd been drinking in the bar - go figure), but the food was excellent. I had the tacos, my friends both had the combination plates. We all raved - CHOPE'S IS BACK! The second time we went we ate in the restaurant. The signage doesn't tell you it's open, but we saw someone else walk in and followed them. This time I had the rellenos, my friends stuck with the combination plates. The service was spectacular and the food was wonderful. The chile was hot, the ice tea cold, and the waitress was pleasant. A daughter of the original owners (Lupe and Chope) was there and spent some time talking to us about the impact the pandemic had had on the business. The restaurant has limited hours (12-8 Thurs - Saturday) - but its worth the trip.“
