Had a perfect light dinner sharing the excellent charcuterie board and each having a salad. My Harvest salad was delicious, baby arugula, goat cheese, tiny butternut squash dice, grapes and toasted pecans was outstanding. My husband had the Caesar with crisp romaine and just the right amount of dressing. Our server was so nice and pleasant, she was attentive without hovering and we shared a laugh about the cheese assortment on the charcuterie board. we had a lovely evening.

It annoys me that most reviews here are for the old bar scene or whiney people who don’t know a good meal from bad, or what a meal of this quality should cost. The food is excellent. The service (Moses) and bar tender (Jaimie) are great and really know their stuff. The pork chops are exceptional and uniquely delicious. Jaimie’s classic Gimlet will take you to school on “old school” classics. It’s white linen quality, in a classic NM establishment.

Great food not their best service night but mgt only had 1-2 servers working for a Saturday night. Have been several times with a good experience this was first less than stellar. Still, usually a fine place for a good meal

Nice restaurant where the food presentation was superb and delicious. They actually brought food out in courses like they should. You didn't feel rushed. The ambience was quiet and a place where you can actually dress up. The service was nice and friendly.

We stayed a night at the Hotel and we chose to eat at Mezcla within the Hotel. We chose to eat outside because it was a beautiful evening. The ambiance was great. We started out enjoying a charcuterie board with cheeses and meats and then ordered our dinner. (See pics). We also ordered dessert and WOW! We truly enjoyed our dining experience. If you are in Las Cruces you need to check this place out. The service was top notch and everyone was super friendly.

Just a wonderful addition to the already fabulous vibe at El Encanto.

Mezcla has become my favorite restaurant in Las Cruces. It's beautiful inside, the food is always wonderfully prepared and presented, and their cocktails delicious. We also enjoy taking friends there when they come into town because we know it will always be an experience for them. The only thing that would make even more special is have a pianist there playing their beautiful piano. They never use the grand piano and It would be a way to hire University students who need a place to have as a side job. So, Mezcla, please use your beautiful piano!

We were hesitant after reading some of the reviews but we were so happy we gave this place a chance. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We had Moses on his second day and he did great. Both our dinners were excellent and nicely presented, both the salmon and the spicy pasta dish were wonderfully tasty. I think this place is moving up.

This was honestly one of the best dinners out we’ve had a long time. And we eat out multiple times a week! From the moment we walked into the cozy and moody themed restaurant, we were constantly surprised. Greeted warmly by Jaime and taken to our table decorated with flowers, we were then walked through the menu and we were excited about the food options. The food! From our amuse Bouche of a warmed scallop with pea purée and iberico ham, to our fresh Mezcla salad, thIs place was hit after hit! The entree though took it to another level. The chicken and mushroom risotto came out in a piping hot dish than just melted in your mouth. That risotto is CRAVEABLY good. And the beef tenderloin served with a unique potato croquette and asparagus wrapped with that same iberico ham, was absolutely delightful. Memorable in every way! This place is a gem. Don’t believe the reviews on Google Maps. They are of a restaurant that was here BEFORE Mezcla. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Our District Rotary training event for Presidents-Elect was held this year at this beautiful hotel. More than 70 participants attended. As the event manager, I worked closely with hotel staff and found everyone to be friendly, available and exceedingly helpful. Staff also paid close attention to special needs of our guests. Food was good and assistance with room set up was outstanding. Thanks to hotel staff, everything went smoothly and I received numerous delighted comments from our attendees! I will definitely be back!

We stayed at Hotel Encanto after hiking Dripping Springs. There is a mall across the street from the hotel with busy streets around it, but once you step inside, it’s peaceful, beautiful, and you’d never guess all the hustle and bustle was going on around it. That makes it a convenient little paradise! The staff was welcoming and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. A great stay!

Beautiful place. Stayed on 7th floor with fabulous view of the Organ Mts. But the highlight of our stay was dining at Mezcal. I am pretty picky and was totally amazed at the culinary artistry. I don’t use that word casually. The chef is an artist using flavors as a palette. The charcuterie board and the cocktails were above & beyond and the Spanish almond cake dessert was a taste adventure. I am inspired! Bravo! Worth every penny!!
