Mezcla Reviews
We want to Mezcla and had an awesome experience. The food was delicious. It was a little overpriced but what do you expect in a hotel restaurant. What really made this experience was our waitress Kiki. From the jump, Kiki was professional and extremely hospitable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended an amazing Old Fashioned for me to drink. Next to Kiki was the bartender, Sky. Sky did an awesome job making the perfect drink and was even able to whip up a...read full review
We enjoyed the beautiful decor & the food was excellent. Shannon was phenomenal. We will ask for her again when traveling to Las Cruces.
Ate here in December. Had stayed at Hotel Encanto but never tried their in house restaurant. It’s just lovely. Shannon was our server. She knew that menu completely; she could tell us every little detail. My husband had the branzino. He did not want it blackened and Shannon made sure it wasn’t. The risotto was the perfect texture. The chicken was tender and moist. It was an excellent meal in a beautiful room. I’m sorry this review is so late. Mezcla was a wonderful experience.

At Mezcla, the chef and kitchen team create amazing meals like fillet, seabass, and chicken appetizers. The Harvest salad with baby arugula, goat cheese, butternut squash, grapes, and toasted pecans is outstanding, while the Caesar salad has just the right amount of dressing. The service is generally top-notch, with servers who know their stuff, such as Desiree, who goes above and beyond. The house-crafted cocktails are delicious, especially Jaimie's classic Gimlet. This New Mexico establishment provides a high-quality dining experience with exceptional food like the pork chops. The ambiance is intimate, making it a great spot for a date night, although some guests have noted that the atmosphere can be too cold for comfort. While the food has the potential to be excellent, there have been instances where dishes arrive with undercooked meat or fish. Mezcla is worth a visit for its rotating menu and lovely evening atmosphere, but guests may want to be cautious about the timing of their orders, as some appetizers may take longer to arrive.
