I grew up in New Mexico and never knew about this hidden gem. Just found it in passing one day. The owners are the sweetest people and make really great wine! You can’t go wrong with a stop at Fort Seldon Winery.
What a unique gem in Las Cruces! I heard about this winery from a friend who raved about their wine. After visiting Slot Canyon, we stopped in mainly out of curiosity. What a treat! The wine was surprisingly delicious, and the couple Desiree & Franklin, who own and run the winery (and who, incidentally, grow all the grapes organically used in the wine),, were lovely to talk with. The wine was amazing, but Franklin was the highlight of the experience! He was extremely knowledgeable and so fun to talk to. His personality, and the bright, welcoming ambiance made our day. Thank you!
