3rd time ordering where I come in after receiving order is ready for pick up. Ask for the food and I am told there is no order. I show the receipt and then just get pushed aside like it's my fault. Thanks for making me wait an hour for the third time. It will be the last time. The new Wingstop on Lohman will pick up my bussiness going forward.

Good morning and happy Veterans Day,
I am the patron that was involved in the incident at Hooters. After a local ceremony in which I was honored, I decided to treat myself to a meal, at a place familiar to most of us here in Las Cruces. I was seated and ordered my regular from Britt, a pleasant and professional waitress. Under previous management, I mostly found Hooters to be a veteran-friendly and welcoming place to get some food. My encounter with the current manager, Mark Graves, left quite the opposite impression.
After finishing my drink I noticed that a dead fly was at the bottom of the glass. I was halfway through my meal at that point but I immediately lost my appetite, unfortunately. After bringing it to their attention, Mr. Graves approached my table.
Mr. Graves implied that I was attempting to get a free meal out of him. He asked why I waited thirty minutes to complain to which I replied that thirty minutes was the time it took for someone to return to my table. My meal was over and I did not wish to wave someone down. I explained to Mr. Graves that with the friends and family that I have, I would never have to search for a free meal. In addition, I could patronize the many local restaurants that generously welcome and offer discounts to veterans like myself.
Mr. Graves then accused me of stolen valor, demanding that I prove to him that I served my country. He stated that the Graves name was well known in Las Cruces and that I should be automatically granting him more respect.
In the end, I showed Mr. Graves my service card and hesitantly recounted my two tours that I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Graves then insisted that I leave. As he escorted me to the door, he offered to fight me at a local boxing gym. I asked which one and he has yet to respond.
Today reminds me of the time I spent in the military and my time as a veteran. I served our country so that Americans are free to speak their minds, including Mr. Graves. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and opinions. However, no one is free from consequences.

Accusing a veteran of stolen valor is definitely not something any manager should do. I am beyond upset with the the manager of this establishment. Extremely rude and unprofessional to another customer seated close by. I will never return to this place and I will recommend elsewhere anytime the establishment name is brought up. Hell I'll even tell the story.

very dissapointed with hooters they change the buffolo sauce n almost seems like they plain taste n the waitress had to be called over around 4x for refills it used to be a good place for lunch but now i think we will start looking else where

I went to see the football game with my wife and son. We had been there a while. Table next to us got seated 30 mins after we arrived. People were young loud and every other word out their mouth was a cuss word. I told management about them. As well as how guy began to come at me when I told them to keep it down. Guy was pressing at me with his belly a tall heavyset guy. I told him I was a Disabled Veteran and he told me in front of manager. Get your tab and leave. I was dismayed because management instead of kicking them out; told me he would move me. A lady two ladies being idiots said: “Don’t be using your Veteran card.” The manager also appeared backing them since he tells me. I am a former Marine and have never had to say that, I am a Veteran.
Well when you have five 25-30 year olds between 180-250 lbs.; including their complementing partners.
That’s one fight I will gladly pass.
Apparently, these were regulars and therefore didn’t get kicked out.
I took my business somewhere else.
I believe manger should have moved the other party who was seated later instead. Guy was talking over manager like they were best friends.
Definitely, not a Veteran friendly atmosphere.

Hands down Geena is THE BEST waitress and bartender! They have other waitresses that are okay and some that don't really try but that's a given for every restaurant.

I visited Hooters Sunday night (9/23) with three friends, and the experience was far from what we expected. From the start, we weren’t properly greeted, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. Our server was incredibly rude and inattentive. Our drinks sat at the bar for a long time, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. When the drinks were finally brought over, the server didn’t ask if we needed anything else or if we wanted to order food, which seemed unprofessional and dismissive. It felt like we were an afterthought the entire time, and the lack of basic customer service really ruined our experience. We expected much better. Maybe the server was having a bad night, but it was extremely unprofessional. I wish I could’ve got her name but she was a blonde with glasses. Beware. ☹️
