The ambiance is beautiful, so comfortable with the mountain backdrop. The bar service is fast and friendly. We reserved a fire pit which was really nice but with the winds it was more of a hassle so we removed it. There are only two bathrooms that accommodate one person each, so that requires good timing. Both times we went they had Mad Dog food truck. The food is good but you'll wait in line a good 30 minutes, not real encouraging. Overall it's a wonderful place to meet friends.
After a long travel day, we spent the night at Rio Grande Winery through Harvest Hosts. We checked in and enjoyed a tasting before grabbing a bottle. The El Santo was my favorite! Conveniently, there was a BBQ food truck so we were able to grab dinner as well. The spacious parking accommodated many people making it a great spot if you have a big rig. We felt very safe and are grateful for a place to sleep and good wine!?

Love, love, LOVED this place! A hidden gem in New Mexico settled south of Las Cruces with local wines. The manager and GM were absolutely amazing and so sweet. We love southern hospitality outside of NC!
