Taqueria El Jalisciense

First time being here and we loved it. Good portion of tostadas and salsas. Although, I didn’t like the green one as I’m not a big fan of tomatillos but the “avocado” salsa (not sure if it’s made with avocado or not) was wonderful. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! 👍🏽

Barbacoa does not taste good at all. Diced instead of shredded and no flavor. Steak was dry and no flavor. Tripas were delicious! Service was good. Salsas had a nice heat but needed salt. The guy was very friendly. I really wanted to hurry up and eat so we could leave because it was so cold in there. Not clean. If was lunch time and there was only 1 table being used yet the tables looked like if they had been wiped they were done with the same towel.
We will not return.

We just visited this restaurant for the first time. An assortment of salsas, guacamole and chips was served as soon as we were seated. All were delicious, but the pineapple salsa was amazing!

We ordered Tacos Al Pastor and they were delicious! They were accompanied by a delicious assortment of fresh onions, limes and cilantro.The pork was tender and well seasoned. I look forward to trying all the different tacos on the menu. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

The melon Agua fresca is soon good here, best I've had in a long time. The service is very friendly and the food a good value. They mix and match tacos and I had lengua and adobada, both of which were delicious. I also took home a birria plate, which was a generous size and very flavorful.

This little shop is an excellent addition to the Las Cruces food scene. I had barbacoa and all pastor tacos which were delicious. The salsas are perfect: tangy and spicy tomatillo, a sweet and spicy pineapple habanero, smooth avocado, and a perfectly balanced red.

Great staff. Insanely good birria and al pastor 🤌

Great new restaurant behind the hotel Encanto. The food is very good and authentic to the family's Jalisco origins. I had the Gringas al Pastor and my wife had the Papa Jalisco, both of which were very good! The chips they provide as a starter had nice salsas and chopped pineapple. The service is very friendly and they said they would also offer Torta Ahogado in the future.

First time here and it was a beautiful clean place. The tacos were delicious and the staff was friendly. You don’t get customer service like that anymore. The pricing was great as well for the food. The food was good as well as the agua fresca. Definitely, need to stop by and try the food.
