“The diner has a 50's motif but serves local Mexican favorites along with American fare. The restaurant is clean and well maintained and run by a husband and wife team. From what I could tell most everything is made from scratch which I appreciate My wife had the combination omelette and her mother the veggie omelette. They both exclaimed they were as good or better than other restaurants offer. They loved the salsa verde which I also found to be excellent. I had the three taco plate with pozole and salsa rojo. The brisket tacos were served with fried tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. They were outstanding and I couldn't make them better. The brisket is smoked for 14 hours before being used in the restaurants various dishes. Tacos are a staple at my house so I know a good taco when I eat one. We enjoyed our lunch so much we're likely going back for dinner tonight before we hit the road back home tomorrow. We wholeheartedly recommend Dave's.“
