Food was good but prices seemed to be on the high end especially when you do not get complimentary chips and salsa .

Great spot for tacos, mojitos; with friendly and prompt service. Super cute atmosphere and an enclosed patio that welcomes well- behaved dogs. I loved the pork and calabacitas tacos.
Ask for Angela, she's awesome!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this is the worst Mexican Food I ever had. The chicken in the enchilada was dry and had no flavor. It was basically a flour tortilla stuff with dry and unflavored chicken and smothered with refried beans and called it enchilada. I walked out hungry.

Its nicely decorated very gen z and the staff are so kind! I put 2 stars for the food because well.. I never got it haha. Had to have my friend get a To go box because I had to leave. I understand places being busy but you should be upfront with wait times. It was about 35 minutes before someone came to our table, another 20 after that finally got drinks, 40 after that still no food. I waited to taste my food before writing the review, with that being said, I highly suggest going to a food truck in town, or even save the money and go to someplace in Santa fe instead.

I was super excited to have found this place by accident. As we were walked to our table and seeing the meals on other peoples tables, I liked what I saw. Things got even better when I read the menu, with lots of dishes that I am familiar with, being from Chihuahua.
One that particularly called my attention was el Montado, with ASADERO cheese on it and asada. I went with it, and my friend went with the green enchiladas.
Not sure if the salsa and chips are complementary, but we never got them or got offered them. them while waiting on our food, but I saw that other tables did. Our waiter was hard to get, but I have to say that there were only two servers and the place started to get busy, in their defense.
I was so disappointed; by the time our food came in, the asadero cheese was replaced with the Mexican cheese mix, white and yellow. The owner, being from Chihuahua, should know better. The asada beef seems to have been made on the griddle instead of grilled, making the whole montado super greasy; I ended up just eating 1/3 of the dish. A little side of requeson came with it, a super nice touch and the best part of my dish.
The salsa on the enchiladas was super good, but again, they came with the Mexican cheese mix. Even the beans had it.
Our waiter could have done a better job at staying on top of our table; his appearance could use some improvement. I'm all about wearing shorts whenever I can, but his black shirt had sweat stains all over his belly and back.
The atmosphere of the place is super nice; loved the outside patio, the decorations, the neon signs and the photo opp areas.
Again, I was super excited to finally have found a place with authentic Mexican food, even better, from Chihuahua. It may be that in order to make it in the USA, the recipes need to be modified, but if that is the case, don't advertise that it will come with some ingredients when they don't. You can buy bags of asadero cheese or even quesadilla cheese at Walmart in ABQ, or if you go to any of the Mexican grocery stores in Santa Fe or ABQ, you will find the actual asadero cheese, in both presentations, as a tortilla (for montados) or round blocks.
I am willing to come back and try some of the other dishes, like tuetano, enfrijoladas (with the right kind of cheese), and los sopes.

The specials are fantastic. So far I have not had a bad meal and I have been in for lunch, and early dinner.

I used to love this place. I would go several times weekly. Over the last couple of months the quality and preparation of the food has declined significantly. At first the steaks were overly salty and inedible. That was gradually decreased, but the seasoning had never returned to previously default levels.
The final straw was getting a steak that both smelled and tasted off, much in the way that beef does if you forget about it in the fridge and it becomes grey and foul smelling.
I did not eat this meal. The meal wasn’t comped when I brought up the atrocious quality, instead I was given a gift card for $15. The cost of the steak is $23.
I have since given this away and do not plan to return. At times I was here 3-4 times per week, I will miss this place for what it once was.

Me and my family stopped her for lunch on our road trip, and I would NOT recommend this place. Frist of all, the owner is incredibly rude, (just look at how she replies to stuff lol). She was very snarky, and she was quite stuck up. They were not bad prices, but they weren't worth the price.
I wanted fajitas but they didn't have any, (which is not typical for a Mexican restaurant...) but I got fajita style tacos, and it was not good at all... they were 12 fricking dollars for two tacos, with some sort of mystery meat, a lot of cabbage and some onions. It was dry and flavorless.
Overall, don't eat here, the entrees are way to over priced, talking like 40 dollars. They have no sides, queso is yucky, a small portion and 12 dollars.
Waste of money and not yummy.
