I travel a lot and most Starbucks are awesome. However the Starbucks in Los Alamos needs a lot of work. Several of us have received bad drinks due to the tea and coffee maker need to be cleaned. As well as the staff needs to be trained. Two gals do very little while the guy at register is busting his butt.
New management and makeover of staff is much needed
As I said before most Starbucks are awesome but this one falls short on service and drink quality

This Starbucks is pretty decent, but the drinks do take a while, especially during the morning or right after lunch. There have been times customers waited 45 minutes for drinks, though most of the time the employees are able to get the drinks out within 5 minutes. The staff have always been good and polite, the bathrooms are nice, and it is a good place to study or get work done. Some recent visits have been amazing, with great service, amazing drinks, and a top-tier atmosphere. However, other experiences involved waiting a long time for an order, with people after being served first. A cappuccino was weak, being foam with no coffee taste. In the afternoon, service can be poor, with customers ignored for 20+ minutes and not getting what they ordered. An iced black tea lemonade was mentioned. Management seems to be the problem, though some individual staff members are appreciated for fast service.
