“Perhaps I’m to old school. I am a New Mexico native now living out of state. I have eate at Teofilos off and on for several years in the past, but it’s been 4 yrs since I visited last. Love the atmosphere! Artfully done. I was looking forward to a great meal. I’m saddened to say, I was greatly disappointed. I ordered a combination plate to get a feel of all the flavors I miss living out of state. The Chile relleno! I had to ask what it was. It looked like a frozen “popper “ deep fried in burnt oil. The taco filling was dry hamburger with no whiff of any spice in a hard shell that looked like it came straight out of the box. The rice was dry and flavorless. The red Chile had a good flavor, but aside from that I am deeply disappointed the the real “Rio grande flavor” is disappearing along with the unique Spanish dialect that was unique to our great New Mexico heritage. Please ownership, reassessment of your menu and attention to original recipes is needed. Please help preserve the uniqueness of the richness of the authentic culinary culture of our heritage.“

“I’m from outside NM. This place was absolutely delicious. We were helped by Jayden who was extremely kind and professional. The burritos were great and the customer service was even better. I strongly recommend this place, especially for those from outside the area.“

“Sandra’s New Mexican Restaurant is our go-to breakfast spot! My grandpa and I eat here often, and it never disappoints. The breakfast is always delicious, with authentic New Mexican flavors and generous portions. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere make it feel like home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great local breakfast!“

“We are a Rita’s family. love love love Rita’s! My favorite burrito spot, for sure. The only downfall half the time they don’t answer their phone. You can call 3 times with 10 min gaps and still no answer… but when you drive down they have a full staff. Other than that, 10/10. Will always recommend them.“

“I ordered to go and ordered two taco plates, on the website it states taco plates are $7.99 when I went in the total was $25.88, so I said the price online I says $7.99 and she said sorry that’s not my website that is the old owners and they refuse to take it down, so I paid anyway..Taco shells were very stale and the meat had no flavor, definitely not worth what I paid, the sopapillas were good but that’s about all, will definitely not be going back.“
