TJ's Reviews
A couple of weeks ago my wife and I went to TJ’s on 314 in Los Lunas. Our 1st experience was with Jackie who was absolutely amazing!! She was very polite, friendly, and a great waitress!!
Now, this next paragraph is an absolute NIGHTMARE! We went back to TJ’s for breakfast a few days later because our first breakfast earlier in the week was fabulous! A absolute atrocious waitress named Cassondra came to our table and I said hi and asked if Jackie was here. She...read full review

TJ's in Los Lunas, NM is known as one of the best places to eat in town. They serve the best papitas and every dish is exceptional. The restaurant is always packed, but worth the wait. Owned by the same people as Rutilios, TJ's offers a similar delicious experience. The Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) is a must-try, along with the fluffy scrambled eggs and delicious hash browns. Many customers praise their Navajo taco and Chile Rellenos, describing them as very good and highly recommendable. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, and portions are generous, especially the sopapias, which are considered the best in town.
Despite some busy times, the staff remains friendly and accommodating, even when short-handed. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and the easy parking and wheelchair accessibility. One visitor shared that even a very picky husband enjoyed takeout so much that he licked the TO GO BOX clean, which is rare for them. Although the ambiance might not have a wow factor, and some expect chips and salsa as part of the experience, the good flavor and friendly service make TJ's worth visiting. Overall, it is a restaurant that offers a delicious and welcoming environment that won't disappoint.
