“jan 10, 2026 I’ve visited this restaurant before without any issues, so this experience was disappointing. When we entered and sat down to eat, a street vendor selling empanadas came into the restaurant. She did not appear to be affiliated with the restaurant. After we placed our drink order, our waitress directed the vendor to our table. Unfortunately, we only had a card to pay, and the vendor stated she did not accept cards. This led to visible frustration from both the vendor and our waitress. Other staff members later brought out our food, and two waitresses attempted to console the vendor, but the situation made us uncomfortable. We were simply there to enjoy a meal and pay for our food, and we did not expect to be put in an awkward position involving a third-party vendor. We have never experienced anything like this here before, but due to feeling pressured and uncomfortable, we’ve decided not to return. We hope the restaurant considers clearer boundaries between staff and outside vendors so future guests don’t have a similar experience. Nunca habíamos tenido una experiencia así en este lugar, pero debido a la incomodidad y la presión que sentimos, hemos decidido no regresar. Esperamos que el restaurante considere establecer límites más claros entre su personal y vendedores externos para evitar que otros clientes pasen por una situación similar.“

“I really love cornerstone! Their food is amazing and for the most part the staff are very sweet. When ordering online though, it’s never consistent. Sometimes it takes me to their online platform and sometimes it takes me to DoorDash. Today it was DoorDash and when placing the order it did not give me the option to add extras (syrup, cream) in my tea. I just added it to the special requests. Not expecting anything free and fully prepared to pay for it. When I picked up the order nothing was mentioned and I was told I had paid online already. When I looked at my receipt there was a, not very nice, note telling me to charge myself next time. That those items weren’t free. I feel like it would have been more professional to just let me know when I arrived that those items weren’t charged. I would have quickly apologized and paid. After reading the note I went up and paid for my extras, but it made me feel pretty bad as a customer. Wish it would have been handled better.“
