We make a point of stopping at Mayhill Cafe for breakfast as we travel back to Texas. We have never been disappointed. The servings are large. If you want a good hearty breakfast, they serve it. See you soon!
Excellent food, amazing waitress, delicious pie. What else could you ask for?

The Mayhill Hotel offers an awesome stay with a beautiful view and a convenient location for exploring the area. Its cafe serves really good, fantastic food with huge portions at great prices. The menu includes standout items like the Chicken Fried Stake, described as the best, along with tender steak, pizza, a massive western burger, and club sandwiches big enough for two meals. While not easy to get to, it is highly recommended to stop if passing by. The cafe has a great small-town feel with nice service, though food can sometimes take a while. Guests enjoy relaxing on the balcony and often return.
