We had a great stay at the Mayhill Cafe & Hotel, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The facilities were extremely clean and well-appointed, and the electric fireplace in the room was a nice touch and kept us nice and toasty. Beds were very comfortable, as well! This is a small mountain town, so don't expect to find much to do, but it's perfect for a night stop between Carlsbad and White Sands.
Gorgeous location, comfortable but simple room (big shower though!), but the real stars were the friendly staff and the delightful cafe. Even if you’re not staying the night, come for brunchFood & drinks: Big portions and absolutely delicious. Very homey atmosphere

With the new owners now , and being in a small area like Mayhill NM , The food is really good the service is really good and friendly . Everything is clean , Its a pretty neat little cafe and 4 room Hotel , with 2 airbnb's also .
