I’m from Oklahoma and stopped here while in town—huge mistake. The service was rude and unfriendly, and the food was terrible. A “steakhouse” serving a smothered burrito makes no sense.
This place has gone downhill I’ve came here several years ago and it was nothing like now..since the new owner took over. It used to be great—now it’s disgusting. I will never be back.
A year ago I had the best BLT ever. This last time we had to throw it in the trash. It was the burnt scrapings from the pan. Absolutely horrible. Will never go back.
We walked into K-Bobs and the staff was not friendly. We placed a simple order which was either not placed by our waitress or was lost by the kitchen. Our waitress came to give us to hand us our bill and we had yet to receive our food. She had an attitude when we said we hadn't been served yet and went to the kitchen and was visibly annoyed and talking about us to the cook. He put our order on and the food was bland because he did not take the time to prepare it correctly...read full review

K-Bob's of Raton, Inc. | Steakhouse offers huge servings and reasonable prices. The 12 oz sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions and fried okra was delicious and cooked perfectly. The 3 meat bbq plate with baked potato and the Beef Brisket and Ribeye are highly recommended. The Tuesday special is a home cooked TURKEY DINNER. The salad wagon is a must. However, service can be inconsistent; one visit had a hair in the food, and another had a Ribeye that needed seasoning with plain, unbuttered Texas toast and thin fried pickles. Despite this, many guests praise the super friendly staff. Ambrosia was a welcoming server. K-Bob's is the best for filling a hungry appetite.
