Smokey's Cafe Reviews
Husband and I were in Reserve for a week, had dinner on Saturday at Smokey’s. We both had cheeseburgers. They were great. So good in fact that we went back on Monday kept looking at the menu and decided the cheeseburger was good so I ordered it again. My husband had a BLT both were delicious. Went back on Thursday evening and had the enchiladas and husband had a Patty melt. Love the enchiladas they were already stacked with that juicy egg on top. Service was great. Smokey's Cafe is a small, quiet, and clean restaurant located in a remote town. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it offers surprisingly great and authentic food. Guests praise the delicious meals, especially the tacos, cheeseburgers, and enchiladas. The tacos, whether beef or green chile, are highly recommended, though some find the seasoning could be a bit more flavorful. The cheeseburgers and Patty melt are described as very good, with one visitor noting the eggs on top of the enchiladas add a juicy touch. The service is generally attentive and quick, even when the restaurant is full, with staff doing their best to serve guests efficiently. Visitors appreciate the friendly atmosphere and enjoy chatting with the owners. While the restaurant is basic in appearance, it remains a favorite for its tasty food and warm hospitality. Customers also understand the challenges of being out in the boonies, where items might run out, and they encourage kindness and gratitude towards the hardworking staff. Overall, Smokey's Cafe is a charming spot that delivers authentic, satisfying meals in a quaint, small-town setting.
