“It was gorgeous and clean. Everything worked as it should and contrary to some of the other reviews, we DID see security outside on the premises at night. The staff was amazing. My mom was happy with everything except for the amenity fee, which was posted, but it wasn't super clear that she was being charged until she got her receipt. Yes there is a sign, but perhaps it would be more helpful to include a statement at check-in about what the fee includes, or just increase the nightly fee by $20. Even still, the price wasn't too bad.“

“We have been dining at Prairie Star for many years, even driving there from Santa Fe before we moved to Bernalillo in 2013. We have never been disappointed in their food or service all these years but I think they are now at an all time high in both issues with their new chef. We dined there in June for my husband's birthday and again in July for our anniversary and Saturday we brought some friends visiting from Colorado and they were more than delighted. The consistency of the visits are what what we are most impressed with. Usually the waitresses just "do their job" and the bare minimum of friendliness.. Shannon actually spoke TO us and checked on us often and was outgoing and friendly... You can tell she cares about her customers and her job. Maybe the other waitresses there should either be trained better or just find different jobs where they don't have to talk to people..lol.. “We had dinner at this restaurant recently. The rooftop restaurant has fabulous views, particularly of the Sandia Mountains. On this hot summer day, we had an inside table by the windows. As the weather cooled near sunset, they opened the glass walls for a fabulous sunset. Equally good, was the creative foods on the menu and no problems sharing plates. The service was impeccable. A memorable night out for my wife's birthday.“

“The bratwurst and fries were delicious. The bun was somewhat like a toasted pretzel bun and their sauerkraut and onion topping was the perfect touch! Had a kind & helpful server who suggested & subbed out the spicy filling for the quesadilla with grilled chicken breast-- YUM! And it was a nice surprise to get blue corn tortilla chips alongside. And a very knowledgeable proprietor behind the bar who can guide any customers interested in the more rare distilled spirits and delicious libations.“

“Salt yard is a unique space in Albuquerque. It’s a great place to hang out, but truly just a bar. Could use some fixing and some more consistent programming/hours. Never seems to be open when driving past. Would be a great space for families on a weekend afternoon with lots of space to run around.“

Def going back!! Crystal also talked to me about the catering side of things and those options once she found out I was the GM of a local business. The server was nice, but felt a judged when I didn't get my 5 year old his own kids plate, rather I got him a couple of sides of the white cheddar Mac and cheese (he likes it better than the nasty Kraft). Lady kept asking him if he wanted his own kids plate, when I kept insisting that he'll be fine with what I've ordered for him. Only complaint I've had in the past visits I've gone here.“

“Had me & chips & salsa Greeted as I entered by a friendly welcoming staff, quickly seated and brought water, fresh brewed iced tea and as I gazed the menu I found things I had never tried before, the staff answering any questions I had and very willing to accommodate my hunger, ordering Huevos Rancheros, with side sopapilla, it was absolutely delicious, I had asked what a stuffed sopapilla was they explained, but I did not order one as it contained mushroom, staff made me a fresh one without and presented it beautifully for me to enjoy, what a great breakfast and experience and being able to witness staff that take pride in their chosen line of work!!!
