“We tried Horizons a week ago and gell in love with the bagels! They didn't last in our house. When you ask for a green chile bagel, that's what you get. Cinnamon raisin, you can taste the cinnamon and the raisins are plentiful. The flavors the there and have you wanting more because we came again this weekend and got 2 1/2 dozen! We drive all the way from Rio Rancho because these bagels are THAT GOOD and the service is awesome!! Both times we have been in, the gentleman that helped was so patient and super nice, actually even though they are crazy busy they all have a smile on their face and friendly, and man that runs that kitchwn is a beast. He rocks it out and seems unphased! Run don't walk to go get some, you will definitely NOT be disappointed!!!! Thank you Horizons for delicious bagels.“

It was painful to have to wait until Thursday morning to stop by since they are closed M-W, but it was worth the wait.Friendly, helpful staff. Great food with some unusual twists.Maybe one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had, very good butter croissant, good chocolate croissant and very good coffee.“

We told her about our experience at Milly's and she was apologetic for something not in her control. She made up with a great attitude and service. More important was the smile on her face.We had breakfast enchiladas. They were so yummy!“

“I booked my husband and I and afternoon at the tea room and from the very beginning we were so impressed. They let us to a cozy, intimate seating area with drapery drawn all around us for privacy. The servers were all dressed like they were from the early 1900s and they spoke the part as well. Our server Mikayla was so genial so truly elevated the experience. All of the food was amazing. Each course came with its own tea pairing and Mikayla would recommend how to drink the tea, whether with or without sugar or with or without milk. The dishware was absolutely adorable. I am a sucker for any vintage tea set. At the end, they brought us steamed towels with lavender essential oil. I've never felt more taken care of. Not only do they provide a great experience for their guests, but when we got our check, they said they're proud to serve their staff a livable wage and tips are not recommended. With this being a traditional English tea room, I love how they were able to keep the integrity of the whole experience even down to the bill. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. My husband and I plan to come back in July for their Wonderland themed tea party. Thank you St. James Tea Room for such a lovely afternoon!“

Catopia Cat Cafe Cafe • $
8001 Wyoming Blvd NE suite c-5, Albuquerque - 7.01 miles

“This is a fun place and a great way to spend time with rescue cats. All of the cats are available for adoption. You pay an entrance fee and that allows you to hang out with the cats for about an hour.Catopia is very clean. There are tables and chairs and also benches to sit on. For the cats there are lots of toys and places for them to rest comfortably spread out through out the space.Food is limited to prepackaged snacks; howver there is a large collection of hot and cold drinks. I had a bottle of black cherry cream soda that was delicious! While there were approximately 15 cats in attendance, most of them were resting out of site. I did see four sleeping in various places and my partner and I attracted two carts to play with us using one of the "fishing pole" toys.We will definitely go back. It was a pleasant, relaxing place and this is an easy way to support rescue animals.“

Kickstand Cycle & Cafe Cafe • $$
1127 Alameda Blvd NW, Albuquerque - 3.03 miles

“Cyclists and coffee. Where you find one you'll more than likely find the other. Kickstand Cafe has one of the best locations which is nearly across the street from the Alameda Open Space parking lot. It's great to run over and grab a coffee before, during, or after your ride. For me, it's a great halfway point. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before making my way back home. The cafe is very charming and comfortable inside. The dessert case always looks amazing. I haven't explored the rest of their menu. Just caffeine for me, please. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The folks working inside are always really friendly. Even when they are obviously overwhelmed. They crank out orders with a smile. There's also a bike shop attached. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there. They open at 8, which might be kinda late for those of use trying to get a ride in before the temperature rises. I really dig this place. Besides being extremely convenient, it's a great place to hang out.“

Mas Cafe Bakery Cafe • $
6820 4th St NW, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque - 5.23 miles

“There isn't much seating as this is primarily a bakery, not a coffee house. They did make room for my friend and I to hang out for a while at one of their tables. We had scrumptious cheese danishes that were like heaven to eat, along with good coffee and tea. They don't make specialty coffee drinks. My friend also bought some Bakery Goods to take home to her family. Very nice staff and delicious Bakery Goods.Parking: Parking is in the back and is not plentiful. Once again, this isn't a place where people usually hang out, it's more a place to grab what you want and go.“
