“I have eaten here numerous times and always have an amazing experience! On 3/19/24 around 4:00 my girlfriend and I drove up to get a bite to eat only to see the place closed. There was a sign on the store stating that they had closed becuase of how busy St. Patricks day was. I can only imagine a pub being absolutely slammed that entire day and employees being exhausted for the following day or two. Was I upset they were closed? Not at all! This is a business that puts the well being of their employees first. Most companies wouldn’t even consider the way their employees feel after a busy holiday. Seeing this shows me how much this place cares for its employees! 5 stars easy!“
“Not bad but not great either. Beer was well crafted and felt appropriately priced. I got the pulled pork sandwich but the bun got soggy and the smothered fries were wet/soggy from green chili. Just needed something extra like toasting the bun on the grill or a kickass bbq sauce. Everyone else at the table seemed to feel the same about their meals too. Okay for a group of friends meeting up not so much for a date night.“
“Louie’s pub is a fun neighborhood bar where everyone is a friend! The bar staff is absolutely amazing and Amanda is pretty and awesome herself! I loved the house burger with a nice fresh side salad and I’m excited to try the other menu dishes! I know this is my new favorite spot when I visit Albuquerque!! “Great selection of local beers! They have a few tap cocktails as well, although they are pretty strong. I love that they rotate the seasonal beers, they have something new to try every few weeks! My one complaint would be the experience I had yesterday. My buddies and I frequent the market, and Paxtons is where we grab our drinks. Usually, there's a guy with a backwards hat that helps us. Super friendly dude, Dave I think is his name, and very knowledgeable. This last time we visited, we waited about ten minutes. There was no one else in line, but the bartender wasn't behind the bar. When she came in from outside, she seemed annoyed by our presence. She served us quickly and the beers were great, I just found it odd that after being away from her bar she said nothing about us waiting. Maybe she was having a bad day? I went back for one more and again had to wait until she came back from wherever, again seeming irritated at having to do any work. This employee had short black hair, a septum ring, and blonde ish bangs (hopefully her boss sees this and corrects the behavior) I guess we will see on our next visit.“
“This was my first time here. Right off the bat, employees were greeting me and I felt welcome. Patrons wanted to talk with me and have a good conversation. At 6pm there was live music. I ordered a pesto pizza which was absolutely delicious. The crust was crunchy all the way through.“
