“i absolutely love this place! they always have options or are willing to work with any dietary restrictions/preferences. you walk in to a friendly staff, reasonable prices (coming from a student), and such cool decorations. ruidoso has needed a place like this for a long time so i'm always happy to stop by. the mint lemonade, dragon's blood lemonade, and the vegan/vegetarian soups are my favourites! it is also so cool seeing them always at local events or making sure other local business can sell out of their shop. awesome people and awesome place!“
“We enjoyed this in the past, but we really enjoyed it on our recent visit. It was the nice spot we started our morning when in town on vacation. Whether I was in the mood for a New Mexican dish or something sweet. There were options. The staff was friendly and prompt. It's just a nice place in Ruidoso.“
“I would recommend getting a room with the lake view. It was stunning! My main complaint is our room was very outdated and a bit musty smelling upon arrival. Also no housekeeping unless requested ( we stayed 4 nights) I had to call and get some things restocked. Just one day of housekeeping would have been nice. Lots of food options which was great. Casino is small but actually enjoyed that over the chaos of say Vegas. We would stay here again just can’t give 5 stars because of room“

“My family is visiting Alto/Ruidoso from Texas and we’re looking for an all American breakfast. We are so happy we stumbled into Alto Cafe. Seriously one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time and the service was phenomenal. I wish we were going to be in town longer so we could come back! “I love this place! Coffee, food and smoothies are all great! I'm so happy I found this gem in Ruidoso. The fiesta bowl hit the spot for lunch. We also got smoothie bowls and a homemade pop tart that was amazing. The coffee was delicious.“
