Stopped in on my way to Pecos and I will definitely have to come back to try the restaurant. Looked at all the neat stuff for sale. Got some local honey and a few other things. Great little place, great staff. Everyone was so friendly and happy. Will be back with a more in depth review.

Wonderful place. Food is very good. Had the Ruben and Southwestern Chicken. Nice and very friendly staff. Nice nursery. Eat on the patio instead of inside if you can.

The blonde cashier was extremely rude to us. She said the dark chocolate mints were a $1 each and the milk chocolate mints were 2/$1. To my understanding based on the sign, all the mint chocolates (dark or milk) were supposed to be the same price. I said all the mint chocolates are smaller than the other chocolate flavors and she said āno, the dark chocolate mints are bigger than the milk chocolate mintsā and that she stocked them herself so she would know. I asked her to go look at the case, because both the dark and milk mint chocolates were literally all smaller than the other flavored chocolates, and she refused to and then over charged us for them. This was on December 7th when that Christmas thing was going on outside.

What a fantastic place! Although we were here at the end of fall and werenāt looking for plants, we totally enjoyed sitting outside, looking at the Christmas trees and just browsing.
The coffee was great and the cake and caramels we bought were delicious! I did lots of Christmas shopping in their gift shop. They had locally made items and unique food and gifts. Donāt miss this little spot. Their other food on the menu and in the case looked delicious too and everyone on staff was super friendly. Thereās all kinds of spots to sit outside and thereās kind of a āhiddenā room inside near the restrooms for indoor dining.

I visited Lantern Ridge during the final weekend of their Christmas Crafters Market, and it was such a delightful experience. I arrived early, and to my surprise, it wasnāt very crowded, with plenty of parking availableāa rare treat during busy holiday events!
Since it was my first visit, I took my time exploring the charming mini grocery store inside before heading outdoors. The outdoor area was beautifully festive, featuring a variety of Christmas trees, wreaths, and artisan booths showcasing the work of talented local artists. The hot chocolate booth was a lovely touch, and the option to take photos with Santa added a fun, family-friendly vibe to the market.
About an hour into my visit, I decided to grab breakfast at the restaurant. I ordered the Lantern Breakfast Full and was thrilled to see turkey bacon as an optionāitās rare to find, and since I donāt eat chicken or pork, it absolutely made my day. Breakfast was delicious, and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations, especially for the price.
Overall, Lantern Ridge is a fantastic spot with something for everyone. The market was well-organized and charming, and the restaurant truly impressed me. This place is now on my list to revisit throughout the seasonsāI canāt wait to see what else they offer!

Amazing East Mountain spot! Top to bottom- Lantern has all pistons firing. They have so much going on and all of it is excellent. Great food, atmosphere, service. They have a lot of local foods in their market. They have a nursery with a wide range of plants and fertilizers. And my personal bias- the Lemonberry Marscapone Cake is a gold star champion! We love this place and everyone weāve brought along has loved it. Highly recommend
Lovely place to step away from the city and purchase local gifts. The coffee shop and restaurant was cute as well. Brought me right into the Christmas spirit!

I visited this place today for the first time. I enjoyed shopping and eating. I did not know initially that they have ice cream, or Iād have saved room! They also have multiple foods in huckleberry flavor, which is one of my favorites. The reason I stopped by was because they are listed on the website for Rocky Mountain Soda Company as a vendor, which leads me to my only beef about this placeā¦. The only soda brand I found was one that is bottled in New York. If you tout your place as offering local goods, why on earth would you choose a soda brand from New York? Why not offer Rocky Mountain Soda (Denver) or Zia (Taos), both of which feature regional ingredients like piƱon and prickly pear and yes, huckleberry! (Ok, huckleberries donāt grow in NM, but they do grow in Colorado and Wyoming, both much closer than NY). Otherwise, itās a nice place and I will likely be back for some of that huckleberry ice cream!
Update: I went back to Lantern Ridge and they have restocked Rocky Mountain sodas! What a pleasant surprise! Thank you for carrying a more local soda brand!

This place has everything anyone could want: friendly service, cozy atmosphere, excellent food and drink. They also make their own cakes and pies from scratch. I can't comment on the nursery itself since we visited after a snowstorm and the nursery was closed off.
