We can't say enough good things about this restaurant . In Santa Fe for the long weekend and chose to eat a Alkeme. From start to finish this was a great experience. The front of house staff were great, the waitresses were knowledgeable , wine served in tandem with the courses. Great menu. Meat, fish or veggie/vegan set menu or a la carte. Either party can chose what they like. Quality of food was excellent , mix of authentic Vietnamese (we lived in Asia for 20 years) with a modern interpretation . No fussy or pretentious just fine morsels of food, all of which was exceedingly well executed . Chapeau to the chef and the team. If modern Vietnamese is what you are looking for, you've found it.
Red room or adjacent are lovely dining spots. Food: best Vietnamese inspired food I have ever had. From Elevated street food dishes to an elaborate trout and steak plates.
Unusual food for Santa Fe. Excellent addition to our choices. I like the option to order the tasting menu or to order à la carte. Warm greeting and attentive service. The eggplant risotto is delicious.
My daughter and I had an exceptional meal, and a wonderful experience. Service was outstanding!!! Definitely recommend the tasting menus where you have an opportunity to have five perfectly portioned courses to elevate your dining experience.
Outstanding! We shared the Streams and Sea tasting menu with a few extra added dishes along with the sake tasting. Pretty perfect. Service was exemplary. Favorites MAPO shrimp, Tuna poke in panic puri (should have ordered double) , Vietnamese crepe, Cod. We are locals who are kicking ourselves for not being regulars. We'll done Alkeme!!!
Servers were attentive. Wide variety of drinks that were tasty. Ambiance was good. Had the Land and Sea tastings. Portions could be bigger to give more value. A fun experience overall.
What an exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is very unique and with it separated into several smaller rooms, it feels like a very intimate dining experience. The meat-centered tasting menu was incredible, and it was lovely that the Executive Chef came and introduced herself at the end of our meal. I would definitely go back!!!
This place was an amazing find in Santa Fe. The drinks were creative and tasty. The food was delicious, and the service was great. If you are in Santa Fe, you should visit this restaurant.

I wish I could experience the dining experience for the first time a 100 times more. It was an amazing menu, sake pairings were wonderful. Go and experience it! You will not regret it!

Food and cocktails were simply off the charts! Very creative French-Vietnamese cuisine. The Pho Sho cocktail was so creative and unique, and our group’s favorite dishes were the shrimp and water chestnut “cigars,” the mussels, and the Vietnamese Napoleon for dessert. By chance, we got to meet the owner after our meal too, and she was lovely - polite and passionate about her craft. Would highly recommend.

The most unique restaurant I’ve been to in a while and after multiple different dishes, we both said that it was better than a Michelin star tasting menu we had had the week before.

Wow! My partner and I just ate at Alkemē last night and now know firsthand that it is as incredible as all the rave reviews say it is. Everything about it — the decor, the knowledgeable and attentive service, the special cocktails, sake and wines selections, the graciousness and creative talents of chef-owner Hue-Chan and Executive Chef Erica and, of course, the FOOD all combine for an amazing experience. The creative Asian-inspired dishes combine many ingredients that are well-balanced and unbelievably delicious. We had the shitake bisque, the amazing Bánh Xèo crepe, the five-spice Cornish hen, the charred lemongrass skirt steak and for dessert the Vietnamese coffee flan. All were superb. The side dishes that accompany the main courses are not just accessories but are equally imaginative and flavorful. Everything we ate was a truly delightful, exhilarating experience. Among the many excellent restaurants in Santa Fe Alkemē offers a unique culinary experience that is guaranteed to be memorable.

I looked at the menu and thought, hmph…not impressed. But we ordered anyway and boy were we thoroughly impressed! The food was phenomenal. Chef should consider hiring someone to rewrite the menu descriptions because most things did not sound all that alluring to try. But what a flavor explosion every bite was and the cocktails were equally amazing. We wanted to try so many of those! Highly recommend this gem just off the square.
