The restaurant in the excellent La Hacienda hotel seems overrated and did not meet our high expectations. Heavy pasta dish, average soup of the day, burrata salad was good.

Dinner on a Saturday night with live music was amazing! Service was fast, food was tasty and entertainment was absolutely mesmerizing!
Drinks were perfect! Choosing the whiskey in Old Fashioned is unique offering much appreciated! The cucumber mint mule was soooo good.
The Lemon salmon was mouth watering flaky and so light and flaky. The chicken pot pie was equally as good. Perfect puff pastry crust and a creamy hearty sauce with plenty of chicken and veggies.
We ended the night with creme brulee per the suggestion of our waitress and it was terrific!

Very slow service and untrained. Food ok. Great location and very beautiful.

First: go in through the Cerillos entrance. Otherwise you'll be wandering around outside the hotel looking for a way in!

Second: apparently they do require you to make a reservation. Don't worry, it's not as pricey as you might think based on that.

I showed up at 8:15 in the morning on Saturday. Had the churro waffles, with bacon on the side, and the steel cut oatmeal. Waffles and bacon were good, oatmeal was bland and tasteless.

All in all a good experience. Just watch out for the oatmeal!

Professional staff from the bus crew, our waiter, the maitre'de who git us a last-minute reservation on a busy night. Thank you everybody. My foodie son loved it!

When I arrived in Santa Fe, I googled nearby restaurants and Amaya sounded like a good choice. My friend and I walked to Amaya at 2:30 October 22. First of all, there is no outside signage to show that Amaya is located in the hotel plus Google didn’t indicate the hotel location, so it took some time to locate Amaya. NO ONE was around to greet, seat or otherwise acknowledge our presence. We hung around for awhile and decided to leave.

We had reservations for 6:30. Walked in at 6:20 to a gorgeous, quiet, candlelit room that was open to the outdoors. Very lovely. They sat us immediately and we got water quickly. Waited 25 minutes with no server and had to go to the hostess station to ask for service. Server showed up and we ordered two drinks and also dinner and appetizer. At 7:10 we still had not received our drinks. We left. Told the staff we were leaving and they were totally nonchalant about it. Pretty sure it’s happened before. Cannot even rate the drinks from the bar as we never received them. We have never left a restaurant due to poor service or food. We sat quietly and did not complain at all. No clue why the service was so non-existent. There were 4 servers and lots of helpers keeping the waters filled. There were only 4 occupied tables while we were there. They were hardly busy. Too bad. Was a lovely location. Will not recommend or go back.

Stopped in to kill some time before a movie to try their Santa Fe Margarita Trail offering, The Jalapeno Margarita. Normally, I don't care for the chile infused spirits, but the Tanteo jalapeno infused tequila used in this one is really well done. Smooth and tasty with a nice spicy finish from the slice of jalapeno when you're done. Service was friendly in this quiet, intimate setting inside Hotel Santa Fe.

Parking: Parking located right outside of the hotel.
