What a chill place. Plays alternative music and artsy scenery. You'd never know from the outside. Amazing breakfast burrito you can tell from the charred outside. Perfect representation of real Santa Fe.

This quirky cafe was a great spot for a quick lunch. I thought the music was a little loud for mid day, BUT it was 90s and early 2000s rock, which I have a soft spot for.

Shocking to have two mediocre “avocado toasts” (bagel with the thinnest layer of avocado and some cheap spices) and two mediocre coffees for $35

Cake's Cafe is the bee's knees. Best place in town for a Mexican mocha or any other coffee drink. Food is wonderful, too. They have special events almost every day of the week, and there is signage posted for all of the events everywhere you look — they also have flyers to take home for the events if you're interested. If your masculinity is fragile and you can't eat around children for whatever reason, don't go on Saturdays from 2-4pm. That's when they have Kids Karaoke, which is one of the special events they have signage and flyers for. ?
A fabulous restaurant with amazing food, incredible drinks, and the most wonderful staff. This sweet spot just off the plaza has so many fun events every week, and it’s worth it to follow their socials to stay up to date with what’s happening. Super kid and dog friendly. This place is heaven, it’s home away from home!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-friendly pizzaKid-friendliness: Lots of board games and kid friendly events

This appears to be a preschool or something. Balloons and children singing off key. New owners maybe? If it was a special every or something there was no signage. Now I'm trying to find somewhere that an adult male can eat.

My new go-to spot for casual gatherings, fun / creative events - singles events, karaoke, open mic. Great coffee, mimosas, vino, beer, desserts, and excellent thin, crispy crust pizza too. I hosted a private event there after hours, and it was a big hit. The service is warm, friendly, and accommodating--I am so happy to have found Cakes Cafe.

Texas family stopped for breakfast. Cute place with excellent service and food. The Green Eggs and Ham Bagel was amazing and the Mocha Coffee was delicious. Great place to stop for breakfast!!
Came in Sunday and got pizza and a drink. Chacha was extremely friendly and welcoming! Also, the margherita pizza was phenomenal, the tomatoes were juicy and acidic (one of the best pizzas I've had). Cannot recommend this place enough :)

We were traveling from California to New Mexico for a ballet audition and we stopped by on our way back to our hotel to order out. We were there just before closing and we were treated so nicely by our server. We were able to order food to go and we had so much fun, great ambience and fun crowd. Highly recommend!

Kid-friendliness: We went for kid's karaoke, which was a blast. I wanted a nibble and drink, and there weren't many options (I don't like coffee.)Ended up getting a small, but fantastic cinnamon roll and layer a beer. Both were great and the staff was friendly and efficient.
