We have eaten here for over 10 years and it is usually great but recently they must have a new chef because it is inconsistent from week to week. He doesn't read the order so something is always wrong and my poached egg were super over cooked and my egg Benedict had almost no sauce when I ask for extra on the side. He also forgot chesse on our burrito and when i took it back in they just slaped a heap of unmelted chesse in side it and wraped it back up and sent it out! Super...
I had breakfast here and ordered the Nova Scotia Omelette and Eggs Benedict—everything was delicious and very well prepared. The vanilla latte was also really good. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back for breakfast.
Caution! This is a great bakery but exiting the parking lot can be a nightmare because of the illegally parked cars on San Mateo that make it impossible to see oncoming traffic, who are frequently speeding heading west. City parking enforcement would be helpful.
