We had a very enjoyable experience at Cottonwood Kitchen. Our server, Dan, was so friendly he made us feel very welcome and at ease. He promptly greeted us with cold waters and lemon slices, and returned moments later with delicious drinks from the bar and a delicious appetizer. He recommended entrees for the two of us, which surpassed both of our expectations. They tasted delicious, and the food presentations were so appealing. He frequently checked on our needs without ever interrupting our conversations. He seamlessly and unobtrusively weaved between his many tables, keeping everyone happy and satisfied. His calm cheerful manner complimented our dinner. He attended to needs we did not even know we had, like bringing us extra napkins during the meal. It was an outstanding dinner experience.

We had such great service from Amy. We came on a Tuesday before 6pm and got half priced drinks and appetizers.
The tacos on Taco Tuesday were delish and the meat was so tender. The enchiladas were yummy, but we would order something different if we came back.
Would definitely recommend stopping in if you're at the casino.

When Time Thanksgiving... Not wort $ 80.. Service Good. FOOD COLD !!!!
I came here for happy hour. Half off starters. The prices were great but the food was mediocre. I had the nachos and the chicken "fritters." The portions sizes were big, which was nice, but there was something lacking in the flavor. Draft beers were $3.25. The outdoor patio looked like a really nice place to sit during warmer seasons.
On a typical day people stand in really long lines to eat here during happy hour, which I don't understand. I came on a snowy day and got right in. I wouldn't stand in line to dine here though.

Not being gamblers, we don’t normally dine at local Santa Fe casinos. But after hearing an ad on the local jazz station for Cottonwood Kitchen’s Wednesday night 6-9p special, we decided to give it a try. Sarah loves prime rib, which is $19 on Wednesday night, first come-first serve, no reservations, and when it’s gone it’s gone. We eat at 8p but we arrived around 7:15 to be assured some beef and we were not disappointed. We started with a tasty “Northern New Mexico” Caesar-ish salad (sorry, I’m a Caesar salad purist, but it WAS tasty). The prime rib was perfectly prepared and the mashed potatoes stayed warm throughout the meal, which never happens. The service was excellent. Two other BIG reasons to go on a Wednesday night are half-priced wine by the glass and live jazz. If you like sports, there is a wall of TVs in the bar. We sat at a table in the spacious dining room but would have also been very happy at the 360 degree bar looking out into the casino and its colorful slots. We will be back.

The Cottonwood Restaurant inside Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe, NM, offers a pleasant dining experience within a nice casino setting. I sat at the bar where the service was okay, though not particularly outstanding. The food is simple, but the prices are reasonable, making it a decent option for a casual meal.

Love going on Wednesdays and Saturdays for their prime rib. It is the best I have ever had. Great value. Will be going again next weekend. Have also had their prime rib sandwich. It is also excellent.

Horrible service! if I could give a negative 10 stars I would, after 20 mins of waiting and not having one waitress approach us. I approached the manager and let him know we had been waiting 20 mins with no service. After he told one of the waitresses she finally approached with a sassy attitude still didn't get our drink order and told us we would have to wait. So we just got up and left, this establishment really needs to offer a class to there employees on customer service skills!
