One of the most uncomfortable bar experiences of my life. The manager or lead bartender was much more concerned with singing and belittling his trainee than running a good bar. He flat out screamed at his trainee for asking a question on my behalf. Which was if they had a specific chaser for a shot. I felt so embarrassed and bad for the trainee. That's like straight-up abusive behavior. He would take the mic and deliver food and sing like a showgirl rather than teach the trainee how to run a bar. Their espresso martini is just Starbucks cold brew. I didn’t get food because I was afraid of being yelled at by some rigid, unkind brat who is more concerned with his time on the mic.
Went there during happy hour and got charged full price, which wasn't worth it. I enjoyed the billiard tables and the bartender was nice. Just wish we'd reminded him about happy hour.
Awesome atmosphere and great bartenders. The craft cocktails were unique and exceptional. Also pool tables and ski-shots are a huge bonus. Must try
Good drinks and quiet when I was there after work hours during the week. Nice to sit out on the balcony and enjoy some fresh air.
Mexican Lager - 10/10
Dr. Stranglehop - 8/10
Loaded Nacho Fries - 8.5/10, good ans cheesy, wish there was more spice and meat but overall well worth the 12 dollars. Feeds two people.
Fun vibe, everyone having fun, great beers, great price, great service!
Very dog friendly. For real. Brought a treat and water bowl right away. Sampled a couple of beers (505 pilsner and the porter) and recommend the porter for its depth. Beloved Spouse Unit (BSU) had the blackberry cider. It was a bit tart, but very strong Blackberry flavor. She enjoyed it. I also had a sample of their Bourbon and their Maple Rye spirits. The Bourbon was good with a vanilla finish if a wee bit harsh. The Rye was like an ice cream soda. I like ice cream soda. Sweet and maple-ey. I would rate it about 8.5, but I'm not really a connoisseur of Rye. For serving you go to the bar and order. Don't be in a hurry for your food. It was about 25 minutes plus. Not a problem, just an observation. If you know about it before then you will expect it.
Had the tacos pastor (BSU) that were good, but somehow missed the pineapple that was supposed to be in there. I had the Honcho burger w/ fries. Better have a big hunger and a big mouth. Fries arrived luke warm, but still good. The burger was great but had to go back to the bar for a fork to finish the awesome green Chile's that dropped off. The verdict? Food and friendliness are top notch, but a little more hustle from the people behind the bar is indicated. We were about the only ones there when we arrived, so not expecting superhuman effort. Just hot fries with my $20 burger. The dog friendly dining room put them over the top. I recommend.
Super nice & fun staff, beer was decent too.
Had a great time at Desert Dogs while visiting from Pennsylvania. The Blueberry Acai Cider was excellent. Patrick was one of best bartenders we have encountered in a long time. We left and came back for some late night snacks and the food was also great. We had an all around excellent experience. If we ever find ourselves back in Santa Fe we will be back.
Stopped in for a drink, ended up ordering the green chili rub wings- sooo good! Small deck overlooking the street, pool tables, kid friendly. Bar tender was great and the drinks were delicious.

I got the burger. Don’t get the burger. I tried my GF’s wings. Too dang good. Get the green Chile and the Thai wings.
Beer was pretty good!
We are here on vacation. Saw the Brewery and Cider and had to try it. Remember they have different times during the week so check the website. Good selection of beers but only one cider on tap. Good there would be more. We also ordered food. It is upstairs so be prepared for a long flight up. Beer and food was good. Slow night. The bartender was very friendly and took care of us. We are visiting from East Texas.
Descent beer, but we ordered 3 tacos. Only 3 other people in the place, so after 45 minutes we gave up on the tacos and walked out. Unbelievablely worse service ever.
Got the Mexican lager & nacho fries 10/10 if you’re looking for a salty snack to satisfy. Go there. Just do it. #notyomamasnaughtynachofries
