Here and in Denver, I met the most amazing woman in my life on Mar 8 2019. Katy Jane...although you do not remeber me, I will never forget you 😇

CLOSED! We had reservations for Friday. RESY informed us yesterday that the place is now permanently closed. Sad. It was a Santa Fe institution
Great find while shopping the Canyon Road galleries. Perfect for light bites and fabulous cocktails.

I recently dined at this restaurant hoping for authentic Spanish tapas, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. Most dishes were overly salty and lacked the traditional flavors you’d expect from real tapas. It felt more like an Americanized version than genuine Spanish fare.
On a positive note, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambience was pleasant, cozy lighting and comfortable seating made for a nice atmosphere. Still, the quality and authenticity of the food are what really matter, and in that regard, this place missed the mark.
Overall, a decent spot for a drink and casual bite, but not recommended if you’re looking for true tapas flavor.

We love this place and have been coming here for years. It’s our go to place when we come to visit from CO. The people are lovely, the atmosphere is great and the food never disappoints. Jose and Made clearly enjoy their place of work and make you feel like family. We will be back again, as always.

Great place, the food was delicious and the show was terrific! My only feedback is that the chairs are really uncomfortable for a place you’re going to be sitting for 3 hours.
I cannot begin to describe how amazing of an experience we had for my husband’s birthday dinner with my in-laws at El Farol. We were greeted like family and instantly seated. The tapas were extraordinary! In the most positive sense, the menu doesn’t do the flavors of each dish justice. Try it all! The main courses melted in our mouths. The desserts! Omg! Things I normally wouldn’t order were beyond expectations. I cannot give El Farol enough praises. We talked about the meal all night and even the next day. The owners are spectacular people and it was an honor meeting them! Thank you for making my husband’s birthday dinner incredible. If you’re traveling to or live in Santa, you NEED to stop here.

Our dinner service at El Farol was fantastic. Our server Jose was on top of it. Super friendly and helped elevate our experience overall. The food was amazing as well. Sat for the pre set menu with the flamenco dancing. Such a wonderful time. Super cool and fun to watch. Haven't done anything like that before and would highly recommend to anyone going to Santa Fe. Show up early for your choice of table for the show. Parking across the street if you're willing to pay.
