This is a charming spot next to a small hotel. There were so many southwestern flavors to try. I love the chicken enchiladas with green chili sauce. The goat milk flan was light and delicious.
The service and sommelier were friendly and helpful. There were four of us and every choice of meal was absolutely wonderful. This will be our new special occasion restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
This is a cute and cozy restaurant near the main square in Santa Fe. We ordered the guacamole, arugula salad, chicken enchiladas and halibut (which was one of the specials). Everything was incredible— fresh, homemade and delicious. Zach, our server, was great—very sweet and personable. The restaurant is quiet and small, perfect for date night or catching up with a friend! Don't forget dessert...the almond cake was delicious!
Excellent in every regard. Sean and Gable were great hosts with excellent service. Food was really good. We visited last March and had a superior experience then as well. This time the same. Sean was very knowledgeable in wines and dessert drinks. I highly recommend El Rincon!!
Zach was an amazing server and the food is great! Way under estimated and is by far the best restaurant in Santa Fe! Tony from Texas
Great food and really cute place. Server was lovely but they were clearly understaffed for the number of diners they were trying to serve.
I hadn't been to this wonderful place in many years, but walk by it daily. The menu is the same as I had remembered, and just as wonderful. Service was warm and attentive. Restaurant is a great choice for a romantic date night, we chose to be seated at the bar, and everything was perfect. Will be on our favorites list.
Pretty good, but overpriced. Service was fair not what I expected. Bread plates were on the table when we sat down, yet they charged us $12 for 3 very small servings divided among the 6 of us. The rack of lamb was excellent, but the fish was overdone along the edges. An ok experience in all but we will not return.
El Rincon has a secret gem balcony. It's on the 2nd floor and nestled in the trees. It's very charming. The food was amazing, and we had a wonderfully charming waiter too.
This isa wonderful restaurant. It serves lamb chops and rack of lamb extremely well. It has options for vegetarians. It has superb desserts (almond cake, flan were wonderful) and it really prepares fish well. This is the former Estevan's. When Estevan passed away, they rebranded to El Rincón. Do not miss this restaurant. Wonderful service, superb food. Note that the bar only serves beer and wine and I think agave margs.

We enjoyed an absolutely lovely dinner at El Rincon in the heart of Santa Fe last night. The ravioli appetizer was outstanding. We had a table of fish after that - both the special almond crusted hake filet and the main menu salmon with capers were excellent. Superb flan to finish! All good with friendly service!
Superb food -- ravioli and mushroom soup, lamb. Great wine selection. Competent and professional waiter. Great atmosphere. A special spot that we would return to may times when in town. A cozy place away from the crowd.
This is a remarkable restaurant - always has been, but now that Chef Estevan is no longer with us, it's remarkable that the food is the same as always. Clearly a labor of love on behalf of ownership and staff. How this restaurant has gone from well known in its days off of Agua Fria, to its current under the radar status is hard to understand. I love Estevan's take on New Mexico cuisine - the guacamole pastel and the elegant enchilada in what must be the most silken red chile around. But those dishes that are more haut cuisine are also terrific. The atmosphere is serene and the staff attentive. Okay, wine list could be more interesting. Easy to discover and re-discover.
Interesting menu, extremely well prepared and served. Excellent food, drink, and service in a casual, welcoming environment. Very fairly priced.
The food was excellent. All three of us ordered something different and we all loved it. The wait staff was friendly and Zach was very knowledgeable about the wines. Service was attentive but not rushed. It was a 5/5 star experience all the way around.
