El Rincon didn't impress us at all. The appetizer and food left a lot to be desired for the price. Won't be going back.

We arrived fifteen minutes early for our New Year'sf Dinner. We were abruptly told to leave and come back. We were not told to sit at the bar or to sit in a waiting area, we had to take an elevator to the lobby of the hotel to wait. We were finally seated by the host who pointed to our table and said he would be right with us. We never saw him again and after a twenty minute wait we asked a busboy for menus. We waited another fifteen minutes for a waiter to take our order. We were never offered bread and eventually our bread plates were taken away. The steak was excellent and highly recommended. The Halibut was over cooked. We asked for the Lava Cake for dessert but we were told that the restaurant had run out of it. We paid the bill and left. No one said goodbye or wished us a good evening. We will never return to this restaurant because of the very poor service and mediocre food preparation. We did enjoy the $75 bottle of wine.

Food quality was not in line with high cost. Mashed potatoes were gummy and starchy, the beef was flaccid and flavorless, the demi-glace was pathetic. I felt like I was eating in an old folks home. I was expecting a fine dining experience, but was very disappointed. The staff was friendly, but the waiter did not know the specials by heart. Overall, a sad experience. I will not be recommending.

Not your traditional Southwestern/Mexican menu. Example: Margarita is made with wine, instead of tequila. It's different, but very tasty menu. If you're open to tase new dishes, this is your spot.

We used to dine here frequently when it was Estevans. The menu for the most part is the same with some changes which was to be expected . A couple of the dishes were not the same as before but still good . We will go back again.

Based on open table reviews I close this restaurant for local flavor. It's a smaller setting on second floor of a hotel. Note they only serve beer or wine. Our server Zac was helpful with suggestions. The dishes all used local flavors and were very good.

This is a charming spot next to a small hotel. There were so many southwestern flavors to try. I love the chicken enchiladas with green chili sauce. The goat milk flan was light and delicious.

The service and sommelier were friendly and helpful. There were four of us and every choice of meal was absolutely wonderful. This will be our new special occasion restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This is a cute and cozy restaurant near the main square in Santa Fe. We ordered the guacamole, arugula salad, chicken enchiladas and halibut (which was one of the specials). Everything was incredible— fresh, homemade and delicious. Zach, our server, was great—very sweet and personable. The restaurant is quiet and small, perfect for date night or catching up with a friend! Don't forget dessert...the almond cake was delicious!

Excellent in every regard. Sean and Gable were great hosts with excellent service. Food was really good. We visited last March and had a superior experience then as well. This time the same. Sean was very knowledgeable in wines and dessert drinks. I highly recommend El Rincon!!

Zach was an amazing server and the food is great! Way under estimated and is by far the best restaurant in Santa Fe! Tony from Texas

Great food and really cute place. Server was lovely but they were clearly understaffed for the number of diners they were trying to serve.

I hadn't been to this wonderful place in many years, but walk by it daily. The menu is the same as I had remembered, and just as wonderful. Service was warm and attentive. Restaurant is a great choice for a romantic date night, we chose to be seated at the bar, and everything was perfect. Will be on our favorites list.

Pretty good, but overpriced. Service was fair not what I expected. Bread plates were on the table when we sat down, yet they charged us $12 for 3 very small servings divided among the 6 of us. The rack of lamb was excellent, but the fish was overdone along the edges. An ok experience in all but we will not return.

El Rincon has a secret gem balcony. It's on the 2nd floor and nestled in the trees. It's very charming. The food was amazing, and we had a wonderfully charming waiter too.
