Superb food -- ravioli and mushroom soup, lamb. Great wine selection. Competent and professional waiter. Great atmosphere. A special spot that we would return to may times when in town. A cozy place away from the crowd.
This is a remarkable restaurant - always has been, but now that Chef Estevan is no longer with us, it's remarkable that the food is the same as always. Clearly a labor of love on behalf of ownership and staff. How this restaurant has gone from well known in its days off of Agua Fria, to its current under the radar status is hard to understand. I love Estevan's take on New Mexico cuisine - the guacamole pastel and the elegant enchilada in what must be the most silken...
The food was excellent. All three of us ordered something different and we all loved it. The wait staff was friendly and Zach was very knowledgeable about the wines. Service was attentive but not rushed. It was a 5/5 star experience all the way around.
