It just doesn't get any better than this for authentic, traditional New Mexican food! The flavor and heat of the chilies is incredible! Some of the silkiest red I've ever had. I'm a native New Mexican living in Colorado. Every time I drive back to Albuquerque, I stop at Horseman's first!
This is the second time we went to Horseman's in 10 days, the food is great, the green chile is awesome if you like hot, however the service consistent, consistently poor, actually after they take your order they drop off your food and do not return, no coffee refills, they do not check to see if your food is satisfactory, at the end of our meal we had to go to the counter to ask for our check to pay, then our server got up from the counter (she was eating as she was rolling...
Salt of the Earth New Mexican dining, with no salt required. Green chile so legit it would make a Texan think twice about returning to home base. In a world filled with molecular gastronomy and big box burgers, this Horseman's is truly a Haven of Nuevo Mexicano culinary delights.
