Went for the wood oven pizza. We explained what we wanted, mushrooms and onion over all and then half sausage and half pepperoni. The order staff repeated it , not what we got. Couldn’t have made it clearer! Disappointed. Crust was not throughly cooked and sausage small bits instead of balls pretty sure this made it soggy. Red uncooked onion, mushrooms were good but unfortunately not on the pizza as a whole, beers slightly flat but acceptable. I wouldn’t come back for pizza. Our hotel recommended (el Dorado) .

Il Vicino has some good pizza. It's located in a weird spot of santa fe without good parking. You have to figure that out. I drove around till my wife came back out. We got a plain, a pepperoni, and the one with capers. SO SO GOOD.

I eat at this location frequently because I work around the corner and the food, service and atmosphere are always excellent. We live in Albuquerque and my daughters stopped in for dinner after skiing and forgot their purse at the restaurant. Today when we went by, they were happy to return it and all of the cash, cards and contents were there. So often these days people are not honest, and it was wonderful and refreshing to have this experience. This restaurant and their staff rock. ❤️

A must try if you are in Santa Fe. Brick oven pizza is the magic of this place; my wife and I had the molte carne pizza and shared a Pesacadore Salad. Sooo sooo good!

Excellent pizza for the perfect price. We enjoy the personal nature of the service when we visit. They put a lot of work in their specialty pizzas and it really pays off with excellent taste. They have a great wine selection. Highly recommend.
Juan and his brother Umberto are the absolute best. Their hospitality makes a great meal even better. We’ve been coming her for over 12 years and every time we leave feeling happier than when we walked in. Hard to find a better experience.

Il Vicino has a lot of potential, but seems to be severely understaffed. This problem reflected on the lacking service. For example, I had to get up and refill my water from the waitress’ pitcher.Their set up for ordering needs to be replanned. The line for ordering is mixed with the to-go / DoorDash.The place was very busy (because the pizza is good) and chaotic. The food was good, but won’t be going back.
