The food was so great I was sad I was full because I would have had all the rest too. We didn't tell it was a bday dinner but the server must have heard when we were talking and my husband got a bday dessert. Just a bit too bad when sitting on outside patio the tables are very close to each other.
Lovely as always. The food is just exquisite and so very delicious. I can't think of anything we have ever ordered and have not liked. Our server, Belen, was knowledgeable and attentive. We have discovered our love of sake through our dining experiences at Izanami. Highly recommend! 
I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. From our server, Mari, to the bartender, Ozz, our visit was wonderful! The A5 wagyu from Japan, thinly sliced, cooked by myself on a 500 degree rock, was fantastic! Our sake was wonderful. Ozz listened carefully to the flavors we like before delivering perfect yuzu sakes to us! The ambiance was happy and welcoming.
