Disappointing. It's a lovely idea to finish your spa experience with dinner at Izanami, but we given them serval opportunities and won't return. Our old pattern of post-spa Burrito Spot is a better option!
The Sumi room is a beautiful new addition to the offerings at Izanami! The ambiance felt more like a fancy date night in this space than the main dining room. The staff was attentive, friendly, and kind throughout the evening. The sashimi was phenomenal as always, tofu “pasta” was really fun, and the apple kimchi salad was fresh and different. We always love going there for fancy date nights, and I don't see that changing any time soon :)
Excellent evening with wonderful food. The service was top notch. Jon provided fabulous recommendations, an interesting education on sake and made the evening fun. Definitely worthy of a return visit.
