All time best authentic Japanese sushi and sake ever!!! My family and I go at least 2x a month and always the best experience had. We also adore the server Mika as she takes great care of us and the owner/family are beyond hospitable. This place is a must try and their desserts...well you better save room!

I dropped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food. Agadoshi tofu usually isn’t offered on many Japanese menus, Izmi’s was excellent, as was the hamachi collar delicacy prepared to perfection.

lovely date night experience ! mika was so lovely and attentive. she was definitely one of the highlights of our evening. the food was very timely; the presentation was beautiful. if you go at night they have these darling little lamps. very intimate and relaxed environment !

I love Izmi. The location on Marcy St was recently updated and looks wonderful - much more open and comfortable. The food, as always, is terrific, and the service warm and friendly. I give the food, service and atmosphere all five stars, but rated four overall only because I wish they had a more extensive bar - maybe a good selection of Japanese Whiskeys and a few more wine options to compliment the Sake choices.

Great place. I’ve been a fan since before the remodel and even before they moved to this location. It’s only gotten better with time. I’m still making new discoveries on the menu. The sashimi salad I had today was absolutely divine. Highly recommend.
Beautiful place but we were seated for over 40 minutes just to find out they didn’t even put our order in. It was a very frustrating experience

Amazing! Getting sushi in the middle of the desert is always iffy but this place was great! The sushi was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were actually very reasonable and actually less than comparable sushi restaurants. Definitely recommend!
