I'd read about Kakawa before coming to Santa Fe and we made a detour to visit. We are so glad we did! We were offered samples of hot chocolate before deciding. My granddaughter chose a mix of chili and regular. My sister chose ice cream. I wanted to try the chocolates and chose two from behind the counter--it was hard with so many choices. Excellent service and very accommodating to my food allergy kiddo. Some allergens were labeled, but one of ours wasn't but they quickly looked up the ingredients and could tell us what was safe and what wasn't. The mint chocolate ice cream, frozen horchata, and chocolates were delicious.

Delicious, rich chocolate elixirs and ice cream are on offer. The chocolate bar team are excellent. We had help mixing elixirs to get exactly what appealed the most to us. Highly recommend!
