OMG I don't believe you can find a better turkey leg without leaving new mexico . I promise if you stop your not going to be disappointed I never am and I try to eat here at least twice a week wish he was open all week . Place fell apart with new ownership
THIS IS A MUST! We ate here twice during our three day stay. The pulled pork breakfast with either red or green chilis are to die for. The pork is tender and flavorful. You can get with egg, potato and cheese or order to your liking. Warning: they are huge! One was enough for two breakfasts. The owner was gracious and let us order to our specific taste. The threshold for good BBQ always remains stable: Is this meat good without dousing it in sauce? A skilled cook will balance spices and heat to create a moist, well tasting product. You won't find that here.I found myself drenching everything in sauce to make it tolerable. If cooked well, this place could show promise. Go to Cowgirl instead :(
