Best BBQ i have ever had, the man working the truck seems stern. However the food itself is absolutely amazing. Slow smoked for 8 hrs and you can taste it. Everything was juicy and super duper tender, i have never had ribs ACTUALLY fall of the bone. The choices of BBQ sauce just adds so much. Plus they have green chili. The ambiance doesn't matter the service doesn't matter. Cause the second you smell that meaty meat BBQ smell. All of it is worth it. I recommend the sampler plate with 4 breads, brown sugar and green chili. Either or half or full. Both are worth it. Im actually sad to finish my food and the only food i refuse to share.

Ive been in NM a few months and can easily say the food here is worse than any other state ive been in (yes there are some good restaurants, but the average random takeout experience is rough) People must be desensitized because 4 stars for this place is wild. Brisket sandwich - plain old cheap grocery store bun that was not heated, toasted, buttered, or changed in any way. Meat was thin and dry and tasteless, and is surely storebought or made by someone who hates you. Sauce is fine, sweet, and kinda covers up taste of everything else luckily. Im so relieved i didnt get a big plate if this is what was on offer

Hands down, the worst BBQ I’ve ever experienced in my life! Dry, shredded everything, over priced, zero sides (pickles, onions, bread)… just dry a** under seasoned proteins with no love in development. Been holding off on this place for years, decided to try it today… huge mistake on my part! Hate to say this, but should have gone to Rudy’s! Couldn’t even use a knife to cut the ribs… this was $35 ??

I got a half rack of ribs with macaroni and cheese macaroni and cheese which was dry and tasteless.Ribs tasted awful rubbery barbecue sauce what a joke. I would avoid spending money there at all cost.

WORST BBQ EVER! Ordered the "brisket" sandwich which was essentially sliced beef with BBQ sauce splashed over no pickles, no onions and on a hoagie bun. TOTALLY TASTELESS, and my advice folks, is to take the drive out to Rudy's. This foodie reviewer's non- biased opinion is from someone who lived in Texas where there are more BBQ restaurants than any other and knows a little something about it by being in the restaurant business. Even more alarming, the attendant got the plastic forks out and ran his hands over them! I refused the plasticware. Santa Fe Food inspectors should be writing them up and looking into their food safety procedures. Worst food truck vendor experience ever!

This place used to be pretty good. Most of the great reviews you see are from people reviewing the food truck from several years ago. The ownership has changed and the dining experience has changed precipitously along with it. The BBQ is very expensive and of poor quality. The portion sizes are tiny. Just about any place in SF is better than here: Rudy's or DT's are your best choices if you actually like BBQ.

The threshold for good BBQ always remains stable: Is this meat good without dousing it in sauce? A skilled cook will balance spices and heat to create a moist, well tasting product. You won't find that here.I found myself drenching everything in sauce to make it tolerable. If cooked well, this place could show promise. Go to Cowgirl instead :(
