Kohnami Japanese restaurant Reviews
Food is great and the service on the phone for placing take out orders are the BEST
Highly recommend this place!! The service was amazing from the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant. We were greeted warmly and were seated in a nice area. The food was absolutely amazing!! My parents got the Dinner Box meals while my sister and I got Yaki Udon noodles 😋. After that we got Mochi ice cream and they were delicious 😩!! (I recommend the red bean mochi) the owner was checking on us making sure we had what we needed. Overall the best Japanese restaurant...read full review
Perfect in every way. I started with the cucumber salad, which was light and crisp. Then, the spider roll had a great presentation and excellent combination of soft shell crab, vegetables and sauce. I can’t even describe the kohnami roll-both taste and colorful presentation. Both rolls were works of art.

Kohnami Japanese Restaurant offers a comprehensive menu with a variety of delicious Japanese dishes. The hot stir-fried udon and cold soba noodles are particularly praised, along with the bento bowls and tempura. The restaurant's quality control is exceptional, with the owner being purely Japanese. The food is very delicious, and the portions are huge. The noodle dishes with steak and high-quality sushi are favorites among customers. The service is friendly and timely, with staff ensuring that everything is done just right. Although the ramen broth could be improved, the overall dining experience remains exceptional, featuring fresh ingredients and a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Unique to Kohnami, there is authentic floor seating, and the outdoor area includes a lovely fountain and pagoda. While the ambience is not strictly Japanese in style and the restaurant is not crowded, it is a great place to enjoy a meal. The matcha ice cream tempura is a must-try for dessert, and the dining experience is very affordable.
