Kohnami is recently under new ownership but the quality and value remain. It is one of our few places in Santa Fe to meet a friend for lunch. This local neighborhood restaurant is a treasure. Food is always remarkable and fairly priced. I have become a new frequent of the restaurant and I’m never disappointed. I always leave full and happy! In terms of atmosphere, the sushi bar was giving Dave the Diver early game vibes. We had the udon in the metal bowl and the cold soba. Both were ridiculously flavorful, and the noodles had good texture. They both came with tempura, which had just the right amount of crunch; it was juicy on the inside, crunchy on the outside - just right.
