I’m not sure what the bad reviews were about. Every person in the front of the restaurant talked to us at one point or another during our evening there. They were friendly and timely. The food portions were huge and the food was delicious. The ambience is by no means Japanese in style, but the seating was comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some Japanese food. It was very similar to food which we ate in Japan, though a little more salty....

Just had lunch there today. The food was excellent and so was the service. “Melissa” was wonderful. She made sure everything was done just right and we had everything we needed. Will be going back again. Yes!
New owners, a positive for an established restaurant.

Food is very delicious. Bento boxes are perfect for lunch. Not crowded, very cozy and atmospheric place.
Staff does not disturb every few minutes which is a great advantage for me.
