I had a wonderful experience at La Mama in Santa Fe! The staff were incredibly patient and kind with our group of disabled travelers and my service dog, which made us feel so welcomed and comfortable.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the spreads were fresh and full of flavor. I also tried one of their natural wines, and it was so good.
This place has heart, great food, and even better hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Santa Fe looking for a cute and healthy spot!
Don't know how the coffee is because they closed 20 min before closing time.
Great coffee and cute store!
Love this little spot!
The food is clean, wholesome and delicious. The natural wines are amazing. The service is top notch and it's a cool spot in a beautiful part of town.
One of my favorite dinners in Santa Fe. Fresh local ingredients. The attention to detail and flavor of a fine dining restaurant, in a cozy unpretentious setting
Is it a restaurant serving locally sourced goods or a fancy import grocery store? Doesn't seem to be doing either very well. Store selection was spendy and scant and our soup and risotto took an hour to prepare. About half the menu was 86'ed so first and second choices were unavailable. Just close dude. It was miserable.
I love this place.

We had a cozy experience on the porch with great service. We enjoyed the polenta with mushrooms paired with a great hazy beer.
Vegetarian options: The mushroom polenta was very good.

This place was stellar, but now it's just okay, quality has dipped over the past year.

Excellent natural wine, super kind and knowledgeable staff, and great vibes. Food (oysters, dips, salads) was great. Bring a laptop or a girlfriend for a perfect happy hour or dinner.
Dietary restrictions: Great for GF
Kid-friendliness: We brought a baby and everyone was great with it! Chill spot

I’ve been coming here pretty much since they opened. The food can be quite good or very bland. Zero consistency. Counter staff are either bored out of their minds or they’ve been pithed. This part is consistent. And wait times can be extremely long even when no one is there. Twice they forgot to submit my order. They sometimes get the prices wrong so make sure to check your bill. They might be out of sandwiches at 11:30 and or forgot to make them. The big green salad isn’t big. Prices are high for what you get. The owners seem completely uninterested in improving anything. Not a good business model. I’ll be very surprised if they make it.

20% starting tip for counter service? Pay livable wages instead of making customers subsidize staff pay through tips. I won't support this practice, and neither should you.
