A great find. We wanted to try local cuisine and happened upon Magueyes on a side street. The menu is extensive; and the server recommendations did not disappoint. The tortilla chicken soup was amazing. The chile verde was excellent! Of course the house margarita was delicious. Really a great experience.
Very good food and friendly staff. The salsa is really good.
Our first time and WOW - if not for any other reason, this restaurant is why I would want to return to Santa Fe. Location is in an alleyway off The Plaza through a red door. As soon as you open that door, magic just floods your senses! The sound of love piano music, smells of Mexican spices, warm tones and paintings on the walls…just amazing!
