I’m not prone to writing reviews, good or bad, but I couldn’t let this one slide. We did carry out and the food we got was truly inedible. I had the orange chicken. Each little breaded piece had a small chunk of chicken, every single bite of which seemed to be rehydrated chicken jerky. It simply could not be chewed no matter how much time you spent working on it. I thought maybe finding a larger piece would be at least edible, but they were all the same. My wife’s dish had vegetables in it and the flavor of the meal was so bland she threw it away and made a grilled cheese for dinner. I had heard good things about this restaurant, but certainly didn’t find the recommendations to be in concert with our experience.

Lulu's offers Asian Delish! The atmosphere is great service excellent and the food delectable. Enjoy!!!

I live near LuLu's and have been there 3 or four times over the years. This time I ordered Chicken Chow Fun - I think it was called Rice noodles with greens and chicken. The "chicken" was strips of chicken skin. The waiter told me it was breast meat sliced thin, but brest meat doesn't curl up, dangle, and make me gag. It was all skin. Won't go back.

This is the hardest kind of review to write. Lulu’s is neither very good nor very bad. On the plus side, portions are huge. I was dining alone and the appetizer and the main course would have comfortably served two. Chicken in lettuce wraps were well made, plenty of chopped chicken and nicely flavored. For the main course I ordered House Pan Fried Noodles, with chicken, beef and shrimp. Enormous platter with nice pan-fried egg noodles. Almost a perfect Cantonese style chow mein. Lots of vegetables too. But it was swamped by what my wife and I have come to call UBS-ubiquitous brown sauce. It is a definitively non-authentic sauce; more like a gravy. I have never seen it’s like in China, where I have eaten many meals. Also it was a touch too salty. On the plus side, the meats were properly cooked. So on the whole I feel this is a decent, adequate restaurant.

We have had many meals over the years, during our annual visits to Santa Fe. Whether dine-in or take-out, we have always been happy. Good food at fair prices and generous servings, keep us coming back.

We went to Lu Lu's Chinese Cuisine based upon previous reviews. We were very disappointed. While the Tofu and vegetables dish was just OK, the Sesame Chicken was awful. I could not find a single piece of chicken meat in the entire dish-- it was just a lot of breading covering some short stringy material. Possibly chicken skin, but I have no idea. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone .

Was craving sizzling rice soup. Wow. It was amazing. Huge portion, everything was fresh, tasty! I will definitely drive back from Rio Rancho. Well worth the trip. Nothing like it in Rio Rancho or Albuquerque.

I will just get to the point. Mongolian Beef is suppose to have beef in it not a box cooked onions and Vegetable Fried Rice should have vegetables in it not a handful of peas. This restaurant claims to be True Chinese food, this is more than a misnomer. If you want good Chinese then go to Yin/Ying Restaurant - not only is the food better so is the price and service.

Lulu's is the best Chinese restaurant in Santa Fe hands-down! OK it's not New York but this is as good as it gets here in Santa Fe. The restaurant is clean, the service is excellent (especially Pedro and Karina) and they will tweak the menu to your tastes. Sit at a table (the booths are for giants).

We had a nice dinner at Lulu's. It is easy to find, contiguous with a hotel, on the main commercial drag through town. We had missed lunch and were glad that they stayed open all day so that we could eat early. Although older, it is a nicely decorated and very clean space. Chinese background music is a good tough. We were greeted upon entry and given a booth. Service was fast and friendly. The wonton soup was excellent, but egg rolls were a tad overcooked. Both of our entrees were also excellent, and portions were ample. The tea was good. Prices are reasonable, especially for such ample, and freshly made food. We would gladly return if we visit Santa Fe again.

I was looking for some Chinese food for lunch and discovered this restaurant on Trip Advisor. This restaurant is attached to a motel and doesn't seem like much from the outside. Once inside, I was seated quickly. The inside was like many other small Chinese restaurants I've been to. I had Kung Pao chicken from the lunch menu. I liked the hot and sour soup. It was spicy, but not so spicy that I couldn't eat it. The meal came out quickly and was good. It wasn't so much that I couldn't eat it all, but was filling. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty meal.

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent. The ambiance is motel ordinary. Enough said.
