I've been getting mead from Mystic Ambrosia since their first release, and every time I've been impressed! Clint crafts creative and whimsical brews that my wife and I always look forward to drinking. Mystic Ambrosia ups the mead game in New Mexico!

Our first visit to the meadery and tasting room at Mystic Ambrosia Mead in Santa Fe. The mead is top-notch and there are many delicious varieties. We ordered 2 different flights and loved the assortment of flavors: triple orange, bartlett pear, banana maple, and our favorite peach vanilla and clove. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want — well appointed, warm and welcoming. So glad to have made the trip from Albuquerque. We really enjoyed ourselves! Cannot wait to come back! First class and creative comes to mind when you enter the world of amazing honey based meads with distinctive flavors that you can really enjoy. The tasting rooms are jaw dropping gorgeous, the art on the walls, the art on each bottle was just perfect and creative. The who experience was fantastic. Highly recommend attending a special tasting here.

I went to my first tasting event. The atmosphere is so magical and beautiful. The entertainment was so much fun. Clan Tinker kept me enthralled and I am so glad I was able to attend.

I just recently moved to Albuquerque 3 weeks ago and I’ve been to several meaderys in the country and I must Say Clint aka Mystic really has set something amazing and magical here. First of all, the passion and personality of the owner Clint is out of this world I immediately felt comfortable shortly after meeting him during my tasting. The three meads I had were all great and had their own special twist, my favorite was a mead with green chile in it! A must try for anyone with in the area. Along with an amazing, knowledgeable tour, I learned so much about the business, making your own mead and about things to do and see here in NM from this guy. Even talked about good old skyrim during the tasting haha. The place is very clean and well kept, the tasting rooms were cozy and very nicely set up. He also has so many flavors to choose from , Clint is a mad mead alchemist and even looks the part. Nothing but great things to say about Mystic Ambrosia Meadery and I will 100% be returning with friends and family!

Ran into Mystic Ambrosia at our local renaissance festival that sparked a personal interest in mead making, and was able to set up a personal tour with the professionals themselves! It was amazing to learn the humble beginnings of the company, and also hear the knowledgeable & in-depth explanations to the overall mead making processes! They were able to answer all of my questions and provided me with insights as to how I should approach my future projects! Really down to earth, wonderful people here! I would highly recommend visiting them again!

I saw Mystic Ambrosia at a recent Renaissance faire and was very intrigued but was unable to sample their mead at the time. So, I decided to book a private tasting after the faire was over for myself and three friends.Clint and his associate were extremely professional and made the tasting a very fun experience. He was receptive to questions and I think we all came away with at least one new factoid or two about mead making.The mead itself was on the drier side so if you're into that kind of thing I highly recommend. Very good flavor palette!Overall a very good time. Would recommend for mead connoisseurs, especially those who prefer drier meads!

We had the pleasure of having a private tasting with some friends and I cannot highlight enough how much fun we had.If you like drinking generous pours of wine, learning more about brewing processes, or the history of mead, you need to book a private tasting. It will be worth it.We had 3 whole bottles of mead split between us for the tasting and were talked through the process of making each (as well as the sourcing of ingredients), discussing tasting notes and potential food pairings, and discuss the background and historical relevance of mead.Two of the three meads we had were on the dry side, only one was more on the sweet side. But there was an incredible variety that I haven't had the opportunity to have in most meads before.To wrap up our private tasting we also had a tour of the the facilities and were shown all of the gadgets and updated engineering that the head Mead Maker had that he's used to fine tune the process. From water filtration, keeping honey from crystalizing, bulk fermenting bottles, secondary fermenting bottles, and even the bottleing station. If you have any curiosity about home brewing you will get kick from this.Overall this is an amazing and unique experience that will impress anyone. Call up your double date and or favorite group of friends. You will love it.

World - TAKE NOTE It’s a very unusual type of drink. It’s not popular yet but Clint’s vision of Mead is extremely different in that it’s fruit oriented. The mega flavors offered with intensified fruit flavors are deep and rich. Both fruit and other infusions such as oak, tannins to create Piments ( wine flavored with spices and honey) are deliciously satisfying. Once the public tastes this new trend I’m sure this type of alcoholic drink will swing it into a new acceptance for repeat flavors and styles. I’ve sampled many flavors, they are tastes to behold.
