We had note learned about the restaurant until a few days before we visited them for lunch. The cocktails were very good - I had an April Spritz and my Husband had a Dry Martini. I Had a Caccio e Pepe and my husband had a Melanzana Parmigiana. Both were very good. We finished with Lattes and we shared a Tiramisu. The service was excellent. We talked with the lady in the reception that told us about the owner and about the chef. As we told her, we plan to go back for dinner.
The food was ok. Our service however by Jose' was fantastic! A suggestion for the burratta spinach appetizer use fresh spinach and bake. Drizzle with/sundried tomato oil. Peas and prosciutto salad if you serve it stacked, beautiful presentation but put dressing on the side. The middle and bottom were soggy. As an Italian restaurant you should never use boxed pasta. Again our waiter was excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. Overall average food but it could get better...
Second time here ...nothing disappoints, coming in for late lunch on a Monday vs last time for a busy thurs night dinner was also a good decision. I appreciate that the ambience is elegant AND comfortable, a combination that is hard to pull off... and that means not just the physical environment but food and service as well.
