My husband said we should have eaten dessert first! The food was so good it was difficult to imagine the dessert would have been easy better. and yet… oh my goodness! The sopaipilla and fried ice cream were so scrumptious we did not eat until the next day because we were so full from the meal. Sincerely, you are doing yourself a disservice if you miss the restaurant. It is right off of the main highway, making it both visible and easy to find. we were lucky enough to be there...
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sopaipilla Factory Restaurant in Pojoaque, while I stopped by the Peoh Cultural Center and I must say, it was a truly relaxing experience. This is clearly a place where families, both local and tourist alike, can come together and enjoy great Northern Mexican food. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful dining experience.

I I enjoyed a large-portioned stuffed (with chicken and beef) sopaipilla as well as a side of sopaipilla and it was exceptional. Good service, charming-diner-like decor. Great place to stop on the way to Taos!
